A good way to express how we feel or care for someone is to give them a gift. when you express your care for someone by giving to them, you are saying “I love you”. You are saying that you really cherish their friendship, you are saying they are important to you and the fact that they are in your life.

God, our Holy Father “ELOHIM”. he is The All-Powerful one and the creator of all things. Elohim is the all-powerful creator of the universe. God knows all, creates all and is everywhere at all times.

God is love. He is all love and there is no darkness in Him. He has loved us with unselfish and unconditional love.  Salvation is deliverance from sin, it is a gift from God. In salvation, we find God’s grace and mercy that will keep you from eternal death in hell. Genesis, chapter 2. “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.” These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, 5. And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. 6. But there went up a mist from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. 7. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. 8. And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed. Jewel of Nuggets, “Elohim, our Holy Father, created the earth for man to till the soil of the ground and produce a harvest for man’s enjoyment. Man’s purpose on earth was created to glorify his maker, he was made in the image of God, and therefore his source for all thing will come from God. God created man to trust in him for his well-being, he put everything that man needed in the Garden of Eden. God has put everything that we need before us, for the table of blessing is spread before us” in His, Holy Bible. 9. And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. 15. And the Lord God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. 18. And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him. 21. And the Lord God Caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22. And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man, and Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man Genesis, chapter 3. Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye, shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it lest ye die…….So the Bible tells us that the woman listens and did what the serpent brought before her and fell into temptation and shared the forbidden fruit with her husband, Adam”. And at that moment they fell into sin and death, and their eyes and mind were open to all kind of sins around them. At the moment sin entered their heart they lost the freedom of being in a  relationship with God the Father. Jewel of Nuggets “For in the cool of the evening, God The Father would walk through the garden and commune with them”, they now have lost that fellowship with the Father. So now man needed a savior, he needed to be saved. At that moment man died a spiritual death, Jewel of Nuggets “this seems to bring everything into spiritual focus for me, mankind became little humans, walking around with life on the outside, but inside they were dead”. Now, we need help, we need to be delivered from our sins. “Help us, O God of our salvation,  for, the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name’s sake”. Man needs salvation, man needs a covering that will wash away his sins. Forgiveness of sin is the only way the man can have a relationship with Almighty God. Now there needed to be a sacrifice, a blood sacrifice to cover sin, and God no longer had an interest in the blood sacrifice of animals, bulls, and goats, “In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure”. (Hebrew 10:6) so what was God to do, a blood sacrifice was needed to forgive sins, so a Loving  God gave the best gift, and the only sacrifice that sufficed God was his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, the perfect sacrifice, the sinless sacrifice.  “Jewel of Nuggets “What a mighty God we serve”. God” Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O’ God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second”. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. (John 3:16). So man needs a savior because he is lost and needs to be saved. Because God is Love, he is Holy and righteous, his wrath is against All sin, wickedness, and evil. When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden and destroyed the perfect world God had created for man, and for the man to be in Constance fellowship with him, God was angry and cursed man back to the dirt of the earth from where he came. Therefore every man who enters the earth by the womb of a woman is born a sinner, and need salvation in Jesus Christ. But God’s Love prevailed over it All. The All – Knowing God saw mankind was lost and needed deliverance, so the word became flesh in Jesus Christ and came down to earth (the word became flesh and dwelled among us” John 1:14) to give salvation to man. I say unto you “For there is not a just man upon the earth, that doeth good, and sinned not”. (Ecclesiastes 6:20). Sin is rebellion against God. Because man is a sinner, he chooses to do things that are out of the will of God. Jewel of Nuggets ” God the Father gave to mankind the Best Gift”, because we are a blessed people, there is life, and more abundant life in Jesus, we have peace, Joy, Love, Salvation, Forgiveness and eternal joy in heaven one day with all the angels, gathered around the throne of God. “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb”. (Revelation 22:1).

Jewel of Nuggets “Yes, O’ My Lord, I thank you for my salvation, for I know you paid the price for my sins, which I can never repay. So this I say Lord, I give myself away to your service, it is all that I can do. Thank you, Jesus.

Well, another Jewels of Nuggets for The Soul. Praise the Lord.

“Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man has a quarrel against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye(you). Colossians 3:13. If you are a Christian who is born again by the spirit of God and your life is a constant expression of love, Jesus and the Will of the Father, I can truly say there is a need in your life for you to forgive yourself and forgive others. Despite how the prevalence and necessary forgiveness is to one’s spiritually, emotionally, health and physical well-being, the so-called Christian cannot remove the hardness of their heart to forgive their, fellow-man. A study was conducted by John Hopkins Medicine on the importance of forgiveness, and it was discovered that unforgiveness has a great impact on your health. So be healthy and forgive, it will make you feel better about yourself and others. Sadly to say, I believe that most sickness and death is brought on by unforgiveness. It goes to finalize that if you walk around with unforgiveness, you are living in sin. “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins”. (Matthew 6:14). Whether it is a quarrel with your spouse or long-held resentment toward a family member or friend, unresolved conflict can go deeper than you may think and can do more harm than you realize. The Bible says all of us are in need of forgiveness. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. (Roman 3:23). From a spiritual perspective we all were born with a sin problem, eternally separated from God. We would be lost forever if God did not intervene and offer us forgiveness. If you are true to your God, and you know of the grace and mercy he has shown you by forgiving you of your sins, you would most heartily forgive others. Forgiving others is a good faith act for your own forgiveness. “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others of their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses”. (Matthew 3:14-15). Most people cannot wrap their head around forgiveness, that is why this is a difficult verse to deal with. God will not forgive you until you forgive others, so if you need help with forgiveness, you need to seek God and put it in his hands. “Jewel of Nuggets: our eternity depends upon it”. When you fail to forgive others, it breaks your fellowship with God, because you have sin in your heart. (Matthew 5:23-24) says, “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar.” First, go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift. When you are hurt, you expect the person to apologize, it would be the right thing to do. But look, God put the burden on you to seek forgiveness for the situation, he wants us to have love, and go to our brother or sister and talk it out and ask for forgiveness. I can say sometimes we are hurt so bad by someone it just looks as if, you can’t forgive them because they hurt you so bad. Well, let me say this, you must forgive, God expects us to make peace in some way. In (Acts 7:59) “we read that they stoned Stephen as he called upon God, and saying Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” But Stephen forgave them as he was dying saying “Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.” But most of all Jesus forgave his executioner as he was being crucified on the cross “Father forgive them for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34). The question of how many times do I have to forgive my brother or sister is a big one with Christians and none believer. We seem to believe, if we forgive once, or twice, or maybe even three times, that is enough, but no, that is not consistent with the bible. The bible implies we should forgive a lifetime of living on this earth. The bible says, “Peter asked Jesus, how many times must I forgive my brother, who sin against me, shall it be seven times? And Jesus said to Peter, I say no unto thee, not seven times, but, until seventy times seven”. (Matthew 18:21-22) forgiveness is hard and doing it over and over again can seem impossible, but with God all things are possible. Also, God gives us common sense, will you allow situations that are harmful to your spiritual growth to follow you around in your life, I don’t know about you, but I would do all in my power to separate myself from people who will render me spiritual brokenness.  Forgiveness is necessary, and there are consequences for unforgiveness. God takes forgiveness very seriously, the parable in Matthew 18-34-35 is proof. If we don’t forgive there are consequences, eternal consequences! If you need to forgive, do it today. (Psalm 139:23. “Jewel of Nuggets” If you don’t forgive others, God will not forgive you”. Jesus showed us how to forgive, he is our ultimate example of forgiveness, you need to follow his examples. (John 8:7, 11) Forgiveness can be the hardest thing that God requires of us, but the good thing about it he doesn’t command us to forgive and then leave us on our own. He gave us Jesus, he gave us power by the working of the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:32) says, “And be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you”. So in my closing, let me say “love” because love will cover a multitude of sin, so when you forgive your heart is set free to love, so above all things forgive and continue to love.

Well, another Jewels of Nuggets for the Soul.  Praise the Lord!

Things happen that will challenge our faith.  circumstances will arise in life that will cause us to question our belief. For example, you may question “why isn’t my prayer being answered” or “how can I be sure I am saved”, now just because you have questions, that is not a reason to feel ashamed.  Having struggled in your faith walk, do not mean that you are weak. Neither does it mean that you are not “Saved”?  Jesus said “He that believeth and is baptized shall be Saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned. When your faith is challenged, stand believing in God, for God so loved the world that he gave his best to it, He gave his Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. believe what you know is the truth “For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved”. When your faith is challenged, stand firm on the Bible, and trust what God speaks to you in the scriptures. Jewels of Nuggets: “Did you believe in Jesus Christ in the beginning”?  As we read in (Ephesians 1:13)”In whom you also trusted, after that, you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise”. In the beginning, you and I trusted God for our salvation. God sent Jesus Christ into the world to save us from our sin, and the fatal disaster of eternal damnation, so don’t stumble in your faith. Your faith is what saved you and I. “And he(Jesus) said to the woman, “Thy faith hath saved thee, go in peace. (Luke 8:12)”Those by the way side are they that hear, then come the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be “Saved”. The devil and this earthly flesh is our problem. The devil will come and still the Word of Truth which your heart has to believe, he will try to take it from your mind, but we must let the same mind that was in Christ Jesus be in us. “So put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” “The devil a thief” (John 10:10) tell us exactly what the enemy is, he is a thief,  he comes in many ways,  in life struggles, by your friends, by your family, by your career and in sin, sickness and death, and many more storms and trials in our lives, he can rob, steal and kill our Faith, thus, destroying your future. “The thief cometh not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy, but Jesus said, “I come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” Abundant live in Jesus people, I want Jesus, I want Jesus in every part of my life. How about you? The apostle Paul writes (Galatians 2:20) “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me”.  Now the devil only wants to bring disaster in your life by any way that he can if you allow your faith to be challenged. The word “Steal” in the Greek is Klepto. It is where we get the word kleptomaniac, which means someone who steals for the thrill of taking. When the enemy is operating in your life, he is taking from you because he enjoys bringing pain upon you because of your faith in Jesus Christ. “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endures to the end shall be Saved. (Matthew 10:22). If you endure until the end you will be able to say ” I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”. Do you realize when a trial is waging war in your life it is the devil stealing from you? When you eventually realize you’re lost your belonging and have a sense of your loss, then your eyes are open to what was rightfully yours has been taken from you. If we want to walk in daily victory, we must remember that the enemy comes into our lives as a thief. “The devil wants us to sacrifice”. (John 10:10) tell us exactly what the plan of devil is on us, it is to “Kill.” He comes with an attack on you with no playing around. The word “Kill” in the Greek is Thuo which mean sacrifice. The devil is a liar, and he will enter your thoughts with things as: “God is not coming through for you” or “You will fail” are some of his smoke screens lies. When the enemy comes to steal, he is hoping you will sacrifice everything God has given you. He will have you thinking that you been praying and waiting long enough for God to bless you, and now you might as well throw in the towel.  Jewels of Nuggets, “the crazy thing is we believe his lies.” The devil may not have to steal very much from us–especially if we are already giving it away. “Living spiritually alert”. To keep the devil from taking advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his schemes. when you are in an unfavorable situation, you know it is a faith challenge. I have sometimes heard the phrase “ignorance is bliss” which suggest that if I don’t know something, then life is more comfortable, relaxed, and peaceful for me. Jewels of Nuggets, “but if I know the situation is unfavorable for me to move forward, so then I must face it and deal with it.” Ignorance is not a godly way of living. Being ignorant of the enemy’s schemes only leaves us vulnerable to his tactics. Being spiritually illiterate doesn’t mean the enemy will leave you alone. It means we are more likely to make critical mistakes due to a lack of full understanding. Ignorance will hurt us and leave us confused, dejected, and deceived. God did not call us to be spiritually blind, he called us to be spiritually alert.

Set your goals looking unto God and not after your own self.

Ephesians 2:10

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

  • Daily trust God.
  •  daily walk with God.
  • Daily talk to God (pray).
  • Daily speak God’s word.
  • Daily use the gift’s God has given to you in the church, in ministry, in evangelism, in the community, in your family, and in your personal life.

For it is by The Grace of God we have received spiritual gifts. We are the workmanship of his new creation, but not only that we are called to be saints of God. The new man is a new creature and God is his Creator. It is a new birth, and we are born and begotten of his will in Christ Jesus, that is, on the account of what he has done and suffered, and by the influence and operation of his blessed Spirit unto good works. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works. This good works is by God’s divine grace and is in exclusion of works by human hands to earn good works. For we are the workmanship of God, yet God, in his new creation, has designed and prepared us for good works: Created unto good works, with a design that we should be fruitful in them. Wherever God by his grace implants good principles, they are intended to be for good works. Which God hath before ordained, (that means: what he has decreed and appointed). Or you could say: To which God hath before prepared us, that is, by blessing us with the knowledge of his “Will”, and with the assistance of his Holy Spirit and by Producing such a change in us. That we should walk in them, or glorify God by an exemplary conversation and by our perseverance in holiness.

Your Goal to Pursue is in God. Good works are molded into us by God to glorify him. Your goal is to be busy about Kingdom work in the universe of God our creator. He said if you take care of my work, I will take care of you.” But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you”. (Matthew 6:33). Your goal is to seek God and the preaching and the evangelism of the gospel of Jesus Christ. If we take care of the work of God, he will take care of our need, desires, and we can ask him for anything we need in life, if we stay in his will, praying, fasting, and studying the Holy Scriptures, our God is faithful to bless us and even give us all our desires, “for he is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”.

Go after your goal trusting in God and he will bless you with what you need here on earth. “Thus saith the LORD, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is a good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said we will not walk therein. (Jeremiah 6:16) Jewels of Nuggets “I will say to you, find your way, find your goals in God, and walk therein.

“Well, another Jewels of nuggets for the Soul”.  Praise the Lord!

“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf; also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Psalm 1:2-3)

One of the definitions of the word Establish in the dictionary meaning is: To install or settle in a position, place, business, etc.: God Word says, And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf; also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Psalm 1:2-3). God has settled and set us in a position in Him to bring forth fruit in each of our seasons. You can say God has established your heart in Him. What a marvelous thing, we are set tightly in the Love of the Father, under His protective wings. Oh yes, it is a good thing to have your heart establish in God. To be forgiven of your sins was a plan established by God in heaven, you see you and I was commanded to death for our sins, but God’s grace came to the rescue, when justice demanded death, mercy said No. I want to walk this road of life with God, I am leaning more and more on the Lord for meeting all my needs. Even the ones that I may think is unimportant or too small to worry God about. Even the ones I may think “Oh” God, don’t have time for that” it is too much like the human part of life that we all suffer with here on earth. {like… money, houses, clothes, and other things of desire}. But God wants to supply all our needs, even our heart desires. And we must in prayer see his eye upon us: when he has a full and clear view of all our wants and desires, and all of our infirmities and burdens.  It is the firmament of his power likewise as well as his prospect, to see where we need help. (Psalms 150:1) He is not only, as a Father, able to help us, able to do great things for us, but more than we can ask or think he has wherewith to supply our needs, for every good gift is also from above. He is a Father, and therefore we may come to him with boldness, but he is our Father in heaven, a Holy Father, and therefore we must come with reverence (Ecclesiastes 5:2) So all our prayers should correspond with that which is our great aim as Christians, and that is to please God, and someday be with Him in heaven. God and heaven, should be the end of our whole conversation, it must be particularly eyed in every prayer that it is the center to which we are tending our focus. By prayer, we send before us upward to where we profess to be going. God desires you to seek his righteousness first, obey what He said in the Holy Word, that is the way the Father can move on your behalf, your faith in God will move God’s grace and mercy toward you. I have been seeking God, and calling upon God in all circumstances, praying without ceasing, and I am stronger from these acts of faith, and my heart is being established in God. We must seek the Heavenly Father and draw closer to Him to have a relationship that is built on the solid rock, and that rock is Jesus. In these days life will drain you of everything that you have in you that is not established in God like faith. During one of my “test by trial” I remembered the words of God, spoken in the scriptures, in one of my test, the Spirit of the Lord brought to my remembrance as I focused on Him in prayer “Jesus said, Father I have prayed for the ones that you have given to me, and no one on the earth or under the earth shall be able to pluck them out of my hands”. Jewel of Nuggets “I thought about that for a moment, then I said, “God got my back”. What an awesome faith to be established in God. When my heart is established in God, I can see myself heaven bound and here on earth, I can have all the promises of God when I am established in Him and is Co-heritance with Him, for Jesus Christ has made me the righteousness of God the Father, for He was obedient unto the Father even to death on the cross. Therefore when we are obedient unto God, who is our Holy Father, He is pleased.

In the book of “Psalms” the first Psalm (1) It blesses the man who walks NOT in the company of the ungodly, BUT his heart is established in the righteousness of God.

Psalm 1

  1. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful,
  2. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law doth he meditates day and night.
  3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
  4. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
  5. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
  6. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Jewel of Nuggets “For the ungodly are not so, they will not stand before God, they cannot have a relationship with the righteous. For the things of God are spiritual, and the things of the ungodly are carnal. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, and when the Lord calls his sheep they will answer for they know His voice. But the ways of the ungodly shall perish.”

Many of you have heard the saying a soldier of the cross. When I was a child we would often sing a song called “I am A Soldier Of The Cross”.  I always like to sing this song because I would always see myself as a soldier Working, Marching, Doing and Traveling on down the road for God, using all the gifts that are giving to me by God for His Kingdom Work.  When I was a child, and we sang the song, I would always excitedly see myself as a soldier of God’s army marching with the church for God, climbing higher and higher to heaven to meet God.  But when I got more Bible knowledge, I learned that Working for God is spreading the gospel truth of the Bible to all nations and people who need to have an experience of Jesus at the Cross, Marching for God is studying the scriptures, Doing for God is abiding in the scriptures, and Traveling for God is walking according to the scriptures daily.  So as I have grown in the Faith, the song “I Am A Soldier Of The Cross” leads me to the gospel of the cross of Jesus Christ.  Ephesians 6:11“Put on the whole Armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”.  6:12″For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”.  6:13“Wherefore take unto you the whole Armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand”.  6:14“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness”;  6:15″And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace”;  6:16“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked”.  6:17“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God”:  6:18“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints”;. Jewels of Nuggets “Jesus Christ endured the crucifixion upon the cross.  He was the good “Solider of the Cross” and they said, if thou be the King of the Jews, save thyself.  For the Jews prosecuted under the notion that he pretended to be the Messiah, and also the Romans prosecuted under the notion of pretending to be King.  So, therefore, the superscription they nailed over His head read; “This is the King of the Jews”.  Luke 23:38.  They did it because they were unlearned, they did not know who Jesus was, they did not know they need him and they will never get through their life without Him, or leave this world in peace without accepting Him as Lord over their life, or face eternal damnation.  They also wanted to disgrace him beyond what anyone could imagine.  God had a plan for Jesus, He had already declared Jesus the King of the church, but notwithstanding his present disgrace: he is the King of the Jews, the King of the church and his cross is the way to his crown.  The world cannot take anything from you that God has already ordained and declared for you.  So take up your cross and follow Jesus.  Jewel of Nuggets “God got your Back”.  “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”  Matthew 16:24

“This is the day that the Lord has made hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it”.  (Psalm 118:24)

Our Father (ADONAI).  Our God. The Lord, my great God who is master over it all. Which art in heaven, my Heavenly Father, the maker of heaven and earth.  God, I thank you for the dawning of a new day.  I am thankful that you are my God, for in days of pass Abraham, Isaiah, Jacob called on you in prayer, and you heard them and answered their prayer.  “The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer”.  Psalm 6:9.  I thank you today for salvation, for with the covenant between Abraham and you (God) a more perfect covenant was made, a new one according to your grace and mercy, we see God that your disappointment in man’s sin, man no longer had a relationship of fellowship with his God, his creator.  So I am thankful that you loved me so much that you “Gave Your Only Begotten Son” Jesus Christ. The promise of heirs; therefore I have salvation, and now can be in fellowship with you Jehovah God.  I pray and my sins are forgiven because of Jesus sacrifice upon the cross.  I pray to you (God) because I am a descended of the promise. (Genesis 28:3-4).  The Lord, God, hear me as I pray.  I thank you Jehovah God, the great “I am”; the one who is; the self-existent one.  I come to you God seeking all that I need, therefore I walk in faith thanking you for the power to overcome my struggles, my doubts, my unbelief, my sickness, my lack, for you God will answer prayer with grace and mercy to overcome any situation in my life.  For I am an over-comer in Christ Jesus.  When I am kneeling before you Jehovah God with tears of despair in my eyes, O’ Lord God, grant me your compassion and wipe my tears away, for weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes tomorrow.  I love the Lord because he hath heard my cry and my supplication, for you are my God, the God of my past, present, and future because he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.  When my body is sickened with diseases, when the circumstances of life have me in its clenches; I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help; for my help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.  In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me, he healed me of my diseases, He is Jehovah-Rapha the Lord who heals.  The sorrows of death compassed me, so much Jehovah God,  that I thought it would be my end. But then I called upon the name of the Lord; O’ Lord I beseech thee, deliver my soul from the enemies who want to see me unsuccessful, defeated and a failure in life, even unto death.  I was brought low and the Lord helped me.  The Lord preserve me.  God, you are good to me, whenever my heart feels lonely, I know who to turn to, it is you Jehovah-Shalam, my peace. “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”. (Philippians 4:7).  Jesus is called the prince of peace, and when I pray to God, trusting in Jesus name, there is a sense of inner peace and harmony to my mind, body, soul, and spirit.  Praying to God works.  Having a relationship with God works.  As I put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:11-18), I can defeat my enemies by the power of the Holy Spirit to bring me peace.  Peace as I live in this world day by day, walking in the righteousness of God as I am called to be in Christ Jesus, for I am the righteousness of God, born again by the Holy Spirit, for I pray not to do what I want to do, but rather what God will have me to do. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things become new”. (2 Corinthians 5:17).   I will pray early in the morning to God.  Praying O’ Lord, God for your blessing in this day.  Praying God that I am bringing glory to your name in everything and every way possible in this day.  How can I help?  How can I serve? How to speak? How to see? Where can I go? In your “Word” Lord, for your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. (Psalms 119:105).  “Jewel of Nuggets” the joy of the Lord, the joy of the Lord” is infectious.  Prayer time is a special time in a God relationship for me to get reassured of God’s love for me, and at the same time praise Him with love early in the morning to set my priorities for the day, before my mind goes to the challenges of the day.  O’ God, Thy name, O’ Lord, endures forever; and thy memorial, O’ Lord, throughout all generations.  O’ Lord, my God, my God, you heal all of my diseases, all of my pains, when my heart is broken and crushed, you pick it up and put it back together, Jehovah-Rapha you are my healer, ” The Lord Who Heals”.  Early in the morning I pray, thank you, God, for shelter, thank you God for food, thank you God clothes, thank you God for health, thank you God for my body as you created it to be, thank you God for materials things, houses, land, and prosperity.   I thank you, O’ God, my Lord for all your blessing in this day.  For you just keep on blessing me, God.  You just keep on giving to me God.  For your mercy and grace endures forever.  My joy is full, My joy runneth over O’ Lord in my heart.  You are Jehovah-Jireh “My Provider”.  The Lord will provide; Amen.  O’ how I love the Lord, today I praise ye the Lord.  Praise ye the name of the Lord, praise him, O’ ye servants of the Lord.  I praise God for all the good things he has done in my life.  For the “Son” that shines in my life and warms my heart with all His blessing that he sends my way.  I thank him for my family, I thank him for the friends he gives to me, I thank him for my one and only son he blessed me with.  I thank him for my one and only grandson he blessed me with.  I pray God that you bless my relationship with you, that I continue to, learn to listen, hear, and obey your voice, so I shall walk in the light of your Holy Word, and not yield to temptation.  I pray that I continue to draw closer to you God.  And in the end that I may see my name in the Holy Book of Life, and hear you say, Father God, enter-in my good and faithful servant.   Amen.

“Praise the Lord, all ye nations: Praise Him, all ye people”.

“For His merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord”.  (Psalm 117).

The Circumcision

“For we are the circumcision, which worships God in the spirit, and rejoices in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. (Philippians 3:3) It seems the church of the Philippians, though a faithful and flourishing church, was disturbed by the Judaizing teachers, who endeavored to keep up the law of Moses and mix the observances of it with the doctrine of Christ and his institutions. Paul starts the 3rd. chapter of Philippians with warnings for the church of Philadelphia. If you are the circumcision of God of the heart, I too say to you, like the Apostle Paul said to the Philippians people: “Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh”. (Philippians 3:1-3). Trust God with the spirit that dwells by the circumcision of your heart and worships Him by faith”. Rest in God for the physical, body, mental and spiritual needs in your life, breath your faith on the spirit of God and have no confidence in the flesh. “But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever”. (Psalm 52:8). The Christian heart is circumcised by God and it is their character and desire to worship and rejoice in Christ Jesus. The Christian is the circumcision, the spiritual circumcision, the peculiar of people of God, who are in covenant with him, as the Old-Testament Israelites were. “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee”. (Genesis 17:7). We are The Circumcision of God. Jewels of Nugget “What a beautiful thing Jesus is the Love of our heart”, He is our Circumcision. As the Apostle states, our circumstances in this world are distributions of divine Providence. God set up and pull down, as the Lord has called every one, so let him walk. “Is any man called being circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcised? Let him not be circumcised. It matters not whether a man is a Jew or Gentile in the church of God, Circumcision is nothing, and Uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God. Whatever way you were called into the service of God and have accepted God to be the Lord of your life, it matters not whether, circumcised or uncircumcised, the law see the flesh, (God gave the law as a schoolmaster to root out the sin in man heart, but the finished work of Jesus on the cross completed what the law couldn’t do in the flesh, but now the greatest is God’s love and it see the heart of man. The Apostle Paul describes true Christians are indeed the circumcision, the spiritual circumcision, the peculiar people of God who are in covenant with him just as the Old-Testament Israelites were.  “We are the circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Here are three characters:

1. We worshipped in the spirit, and not in carnal ordinances of the Old-Testament which consist of meats, and drinks, and divers washings.

2. We rejoiced in Christ Jesus and not in the peculiar privileges – just mere outward enjoyments and performances. They rejoice in their relation to Christ and interest in him.

3. We have no confidence in the flesh, in those carnal ordinances and outward performances. We must be taken off from trusting in our own battles and ourselves, then we can build only on Jesus Christ the everlasting foundation. Jesus is our confidence, as well as our joy, as we continue to be the peculiar people set aside to worship God.

“For lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.”  (Amos 9:9)

Every sifting come by divine command and permission.  God says He will sift the righteous from among the world, God is a righteous judge and “His eyes are upon the sinful and wicked nation, our graciously God will separate between the righteous and wicked, He will deliver them from all the world’s calamities, even though some of you who are righteous maybe pious, God will not see you as wicked, for the Judge of all the earth will do right, more than right as to slay the righteous with the wicked.  “That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”  {Genesis 18:25}.  Where ever the righteous pilgrimage journey may take him, God has his eyes upon him.  Whatever has shaken your life to the core, or whatever it is that have scattered every plan of direction in your life, God is saying today, He will not take His eyes off you, He will take care to separate you from the wicked, ” (God will take care to separate between the corn and chaff by sifting and letting the chaff fall to the ground and the corn preserved (saved).  God says the righteous one among them, not one of them shall be lost.  God says I will sift the righteous, Satan, may hold the sieve, he may be holding you in sin, or holding you in bondage of generational curses, but keep your faith in God, because the overruling hand of the Master will accomplish the work that He started in you.  He will keep you pure through the storm that may be beating upon your life, and He will destroy the enemy by the very destructive process that Satan intended for you.  God can use the work of Satan for His glory, and for our eternal profit.  The Lord Jesus will surely use the wind from His nostrils and divide his precious ones from the wicked, for everyone that say, Lord, Lord is not of Him.   Jewels of Nuggets “But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity” (Luke 13:27).  The winnowing process of the Holy Spirit must be performed, it will reveal all truth according to scriptures and the husk and chaff must fly before the Holy Spirit, leaving only true worshipers.

Just as wheat is preserved by the farmer.  God is careful that He doesn’t lose one soul that come unto Him, God himself sifts, and therefore it is stern and terrible work; He sifts the believer in all places, “among all nations of people,” He is very effectual in His sifting, “like corn that is sifted in a sieve”, and yet after all of these things: tears, loneliness, heartbreaks, fears, worries, trials, sickness, and deaths not one of His chosen ones is lost. The Apostle Paul, write  “who shall Separate Us from the love of Christ?  Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  “As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long, we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter”.  Jewels of Nugget “I like this, it gives recognition to the true worshiper after the effectual sifting by the hand of God, The verse says, “Nay (No), in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us”.  (Roman 8:35-37)  Knowing who’s you are, makes the journey easy.  Jesus said, “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light”.  Every individual believer is precious in the sight of the Lord, a shepherd would not lose one sheep, and if you should lose a coin or child you would search frantically trying to find it.  And you are just mere humans from the dust of the earth, made in the likeness of God to feel and care for blessing, and accomplishments here on earth.  Well, the Master of our soul is more than our intellect can imagine, He is the True and Living God the alpha and Omega, and there is no one greater than Him, He is the all-Knowing and all Power in His hand God. The Master of our soul will not lose “one of His redeemed people.  “Let the redeemed of the Lord, say so”.  So therefore if we are the redeemed of the Lord, we can rejoice that we are preserved in Christ Jesus.

“Forsake Me Not, O Lord”  (Psalm 38:21)

While on this path of life journey, we need to know that someone cares about us, that we have an entourage of people surrounding us.  Our desire is to reach out and touch someone when life is upon us and there is no escape for life’s despair.  That is why the Psalmist writes “Forsake Me Not, O Lord”, Please Lord, do not leave me along, and when there is no person to be found to come to our rescue, because if man is who you wait on, there will be disappointment, humans were not created to be a “god” for us, we call on “God”, the creator of the universe.  with our infinite mind we seek to talk with God, so as we have heard or been taught, we must honor God as an Eternal Spirit, a Holy Father, the creator of all things in heavenly places and His glory fill the earth,  “Jewels of Nuggets” God is on His throne in heaven, and the Son is seated on His right-hand side, but His glory fills the earth, it is hard to see God’s glory through so much evil and wickedness in the world as it is today.  But His glory is here high and lifted up”.

1.  “In the year that King Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the Temple”.

2.  “Above it stood the Seraphim: each one had six wings; with twain, he covered his face, and with twain, he covered his feet, and with twain, he did fly”.

3.  “And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory”.   (Isaiah 6:1-3)

So we pray, “Forsake me not, O Lord”.  Frequently we pray that God would not forsake us in the hour of trial and temptation, but we too much not forget that we have need to use this prayer at all times.  There is no moment of our life, however holy, in which we can do without his constant upholding.  Whether in light or in darkness, in communion or in temptation, we alike need the prayer, “Forsake me not, O Lord”.  Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe”.  A little child, while learning to walk, always needs the help of mom and dad.  The ship left by the pilot drifts at once from its course.  We cannot do without continued aid from above; let it then be your prayer today.  “Forsake me not”.  Father, forsake not thy child, lest he falls by the hand of the enemy.  Shepherd, forsake not thy lamb, lest he wanders from the safety of the fold.  Great Husbandman, forsake not thy plant, lest it withers and dies.  “Jewels of Nuggets” Fathers take care of your children and strengthen your family, and they will not fall into the ditches of life destruction.  Businessman, forsake not your jobs or you may fall into poverty.  Husbands, forsake not your wife, or the light of her love may grow dime”.  “Forsake me not, O Lord”, now, and forsake me not at any moment of my life.  Forsake me not in my joys, lest they absorb my heart.  Forsake me not in my sorrows, lest I murmur against thee.  Forsake me not in the day of my repentance, lest I lose the hope of pardon, and fall into despair; and forsake me not in the day of my strongest faith, lest faith degenerates into presumption.  forsake me not, for without thee I am weak, but with thee I am strong.  Forsake me not, for my path is dangerous, and full of snares, and I cannot do without thy guidance.  The hen forsakes not her chicks, cover do thou now and cover does thou then, evermore cover me with thy feathers, and permit me under thy wings to find my refuge.  “Be not far from me, O Lord, for trouble is near, for there is none to help”.  “Leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation”.   “Jewels of Nuggets”  A man’s life is a life of trouble, Yes man is born unto trouble, for it finds a man from the time he enters out of the womb.   With a loud voice, I cry unto you God, “Forsake me not, O Lord”

“O ever in our cleansed breast,

Bid thine Eternal Spirit rest;

And make our secret soul to be

A temple pure and worthy of thee”.
