I will dwell in the House of the Lord! One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. Psalms 27:4 KJV

With my face turned to the Holy Hills of my God, and my hands lifted up I will give praise to the great “I Am” the everlasting God. I will express my love and strong desire in the Lord. He is the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end. He is the light of my soul, the bright and morning star, and He is my salvation, and in God I will trust and will not fear. He is the strength of my life, and therefore I will not be afraid. I will not be afraid when the wicked shall come upon me to destroy and eat up my flesh for the Lord will be there, for my enemies will stumble and fall it’s a battle for the Lord, Jehovah-ROHI is my Lord and my shepherd. The Lord loved me before I could love Him. Therefore I will not be afraid. Even though trials and tribulations may be like an army of thousands encamped around me I will not be afraid. Jehovah-ROHI is my Lord. My heart will not fear thou trials may rise up against me like wars but in it all I shall be confident in this one thing, that The Lord is my Shepherd. “For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield. The Lord will give grace and glory. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk upright”. Psalm84:11. God is the light of my life he always lead me into a good path to receive the good things that comes down from heaven. Prayer is mine, joy is mine, praise is mine, worship is mine, salvation is mine and Jesus is mine. Blessing of his grace and mercy is continually with me. No good thing will he withhold from me on earth if I ask in Faith and not doubting. Thanks be unto Jesus that I have the favor of God over my life. Therefore I will love the house of the Lord, His Tabernacle is a place of glory. As I seek God I will not depart from the house of the Lord for He dwell within my heart, He has sent His Holy Spirit from heaven to earth to dwell in our hearts. All praises go up to Jesus who lights my way The Bright and Morningstar. “And this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day”. Luke 2:37

(Mark 4:26-29)

The meaning of the parable of the growing seed:

This parable expands on Jesus’ teaching of how the “good soil” (a receptive heart) receives the “seed” (the Word of God). In the Parable of the Growing Seed, Jesus tells a man who scatters seeding on the ground and then allows nature to take its course. As the man who sowed the seed goes about his business day by day, the seed begins to have an effect. First, the seed sprouts; then it produces a stalk and leaves, then a head of grain, and, Finally, fully developed kernels in the head. Jesus emphasizes that all of this happens without the man’s help. The man who scattered the seeds cannot even fully understand how it happen-it is simply the work of nature. “All by it self the soil produces”. (verse 28)

Sowing Seeds: Luke 8:5-16

V5. A sower went out to sow his seeds: and as he showed, some fell by the wayside, and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. (There are 4 groups of people to whom these scriptures are references as the hearer.

1. The Word fell by the wayside, and it was trodden down and the fowls of the air devoured it

Word of God is a seed waiting to be planted in the hearts of man. So “a man” went out sharing the “Word” of God. Many people of all walks of life, and from many nations heard the Word: They heard the Word, These people heard the Word, they even believe it in their hearts what they heard, but when life came, and the cares of the world over took their lives, it gave the devil the opportunity to come and steal the Word out of their hearts to keep them from believing in Jesus unto salvation. The devil want to keep you out of the Kingdom of God, but he want your Soul in Hell with himself.

2. The second group is the Word fell upon a rock, and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

This group heard the Word, received the Word of God, and believe the Word with joy, but the Word did not have a chance to take root in the hearts. So in a short time, the devil come with temptations and the believer fall away from The Faith, because the Word was sowed in the heart, but it had no roots in the heart to help fight the evil of sin and temptation. Therefore the Christian will have to go into the battle without his/her armor. You can’t fight a Spiritual battle without having your Spiritual Armor. “Put on the whole Armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”. “And taking the Helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”. (Ephesians 6:11,17)

3. The third group the Word fell among was thorns and the thorns sprang up and chocked the Word out of the believer heart. And the Word fell among thorns are believers who heard the Word and they go forth in the world and the cares of the world riches and pleasures of this life, and the believer forget to nourish their spirit with the Word so they can bring forth good fruits, therefore they had no fruits for the riches, and pleasures of life had chocked the Word out of them.

4. The fourth group the Word fell on was good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundred-fold. But the believer with a honest and good heart, heard the Word and kept it, and brought forth fruit with patience. The believer with a honest and good heart, believed the Word, had faith in the Word, and they choose to study the Word and hide it in their heart. Therefore when they walk the path of life they were able to fight the Spiritual Warfare fight because they had on the Whole Armor of God. (Ephesians 6:11-18)

When they receive the Word, they didn’t hide the Word, no, no they spoke the Word and shared God’s Word with others to bring them into salvation.

“No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light” (Luke 8:16)KJV

“Jewels of Nuggets: “Sowing and Reaping” you sow goodness and you reap the good that you sow, but be careful of the state of the heart in what you sow. “Seed Time and Harvest” you plant a seed in good ground and expect a big overflow in return. Be careful of the soil where you plant your seed.

Well, this is another Jewels for the Soul Blog. Praise the Lord!!!

The scriptures are taken from King James Version of the Bible:

The Words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.   (Ecclesiastes 3:1-22)

“Jewels For The Soul Says:” This is the time to Stand. This is the time to weep. This is the time to look-up. This is the time to pray. This the time to recognize. This is the time for change within. This is the time for a new heart. This is the time for joy.  This is the time to love. This is the time to forgive. This is the time to turn from evil. This is the time to do good. This is the time to love God. This is the time to worship. This is the time to praise. This is the time to show up-lifted hands. This is the time to change. This is the time to help. This is the time to stop being a victim. This is the time to smile. This is the time to live with purpose.

This is the time to love the creator, but not love the creature more than you love the creator. This is the time to give God, all worship, honor, and praise, and to love others as you love yourself.  “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all of your soul, with all of your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: “you shall love your neighbor as yourself”. On these two commandments hang all the law and prophets”

Jewels of Nuggets: Do you love the creature more? Do you love your big house, your big car, your big bank account, your big closet of clothes, all of the material blessing that comes to you, do you worship them more? This is the time to worship the True and Living God, Jehovah God. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, He is the Son of man.   “Amen

God will never change, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. “I the LORD do not change”.  Malachi 3:6

God tells us of the cautionary nature of his declarations and the fact that He will act in accordance with our choices. If He announces at any time a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that nation that I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned. And at another time He announces that a nation or kingdom is to be built up and planted, and it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it. “This is what the Lord says: Look! I am preparing a disaster for you and devising a plan against you. So turn from your evil ways, each one of you, and reform your ways and actions”  (Jeremiah 18-7-11).  “If a nation I warned repents [like Assyria in Jonah 3]. . . then I will relent.” Conversely, God may tell a nation they will be blessed, but “if it does evil in my sight [like Israel in Micah 1] . . . then I will reconsider the good I had intended.”

This is The Time for Change:

  • To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
  •  A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
  •  A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
  •  A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
  •  A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together, a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
  •  A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep and a time to cast away;
  •  A time to rend, and a time to sew, a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
  •  A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

There is a great deal of toil and trouble to be seen among the children of men. Labour and sorrow fill the world. This toil and this trouble are what God has allotted us. He never intended this world for our rest, and therefore never appointed us to take our ease in it. To many, it proves a gift. God gives it to men, as the physician gives medicine to his patient, to do him good and make him feel better. This travail of a world is given to us to make us weary of the world and desirous of the remaining rest. [when we shall see God] It is given to us that we may be kept in action, and may always have something to do, for none of us were sent into the world to be idle, and for sure not to stay. Every change cuts us out some new work, which we should be more anxious and concerned about, than about the event.

  • What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
  •  I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
  •  He has made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. [“Jewels of Nuggets” God is the maker of this temple, and He made it beautiful and He is continually working on it, he is not through with me yet, so don’t judge.]
  • I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. [“Jewels of Nuggets” We must be pleased with our fate in this world, and cheerfully submit in the will of God concerning us, and accommodate ourselves to it. There is no good in things, except to do good with them, to our families, to our neighbors, to the poor, to the public, to civil and religious interests. It is to do good in this life, which is short and uncertain we have but a little time to be doing good, and therefore you need to redeem the time”.]
  • And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor it is the gift of God. [“Jewels of Nuggets” God gives blessing let us thank Him for all that is given to us to enjoy. Don’t be greedy, also be ready to bless others”.]
  •  I know that whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever; nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
  •  That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.   [“Jewels of Nuggets” Whatever changes we see or feel in this world, we must acknowledge the inviolable steadiness of God’s government. The sun rises and sets, the moon increases and decreases, and yet both are where they were, and their revolutions are in the same method from the beginning according to the ordinances of heaven so it is with the events of providence”.]

This is The Time for Change.  Every man needs to see a change in his Mind, Spirit, Soul, and let the change cause his body to act in obedience to God’s ordinances that are set forth in the world. The world, as it has been, is and will be constant in inconstancy for God requires that which is past, that is, repeats what he has formerly done and deals with us no otherwise than as he has used to deal with good men and shall the earth be forsaken for us, or the rock removed out of its place? There has no change befallen us, nor any temptation by it overtaken us, but such as is common to men.

  •  And moreover, I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place righteousness, that iniquity was there.   [“Jewels of Nuggets” Solomon is showing that everything in this world, without piety and the fear of God, is vanity. Take away religion and there will be nothing valuable among men, nothing for the sake of which a wise man would think it worthwhile to live in this world.”]
  • I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.   [“Jewels of Nuggets” One day the judge himself will be judged for not judging all right. Judgment in the world today is perverted. God shall judge between the righteous and the wicked, he shall judge for the righteous and plead the cause of the oppressed, but the wicked He will not hear. “The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming”.]
  • I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.   [“jewels of Nuggets” Man will be in a bad state without God. Here Solomon hope is that that God would visit man and show him he is nothing without his God. For without God men are compared to beasts”]
  •  For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other, yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.   [Jewels of Nuggets” Here again Solomon is comparing man to beast if a man does not have a new soul in the Divine Christ he is lost after the breath of life goes out of him, for the beast breath air also and when the breath of life leaves him, he goes down to the below”.]
  • All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.   [“Jewels of Nuggets” Man and beast bodies go to the same place when it dies, it is returned back to dirt from where it came. But there is a difference to what happens to man and beast when they die. It is for certain the spirit of the beast goes downwards to the earth it dies with the body, it perishes and is gone at death. The soul of a beast is, at death, like a candle blown out-there is an end of it and it dies forever, but whereas the soul of a man is then like a candle taken out of a dark lantern, which leaves the lantern useless indeed, but does continue itself to shine brighter, because the soul of man continue to live, it will never die because “The Breath Of God” was breathed into the nostrils of man. This great difference between the spirits of men and beasts is the reason why man should worship his God and set his affections on things above, and lift up their souls to those things on high”.]
  •  Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?   [[“Jewels of Nuggets” God knows. He created them as such. Man spirit was put in him to bring glory to Jehovah God in the heavens. A man was made to worship God. God has reserved His place in the heart of man. Beasts have no part in the kingdom worship of God, for beasts have no life in his spirit and after death, the spirit of a beast goes to below”.]
  • wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?   [“Jewels of Nuggets” There is nothing better, as to this world, nothing better to be had out of our wealth and honor, than that a man should happy in his own works, that is: Keep a clear conscience, and never admit iniquity unto the place of righteousness. Let every man examine his own work, and approve himself alone, and not in another. (Galatians 6:4). Let him not get nor keep anything but what he can rejoice in. “For the boasting is this. the testimony of our conscience that we conduct ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you”. 2 Corinthians 1:12. Live a cheerful life. If God has prospered the work of our hands unto us, let us give thanks unto God and rejoice in it, and take the comfort of it”.]

Purpose of Writing: Ecclesiastes is a book of perspective. The narrative “of the Preacher” reveals the depression that inevitably results from seeking happiness in worldly things. The book gives Christians a chance to see the world through the eyes of a person who, though it was very wise trying to find meaning in temporary  human things. Most every form of worldly pleasure is explored by the preacher, and none of it gives him a sense of meaning. The Preacher finally realized that this world away from God has nothing to offer, it shall all pass away, and will destroy man as he searches for it, SO,  Vanity of vanity, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.

Well, this is another Jewels for The Soul Blog.   Praise The Lord!!!

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”.  John 14:6

Since the beginning of time, we as a people have been pledge with many of thousands of diseases that have caused sickness in the lives of people all over the world. But I must say that I have never in my lifetime seen diseases cause sickness in the lives of people to the point of a pandemic all throughout the nations with people getting sick to never recover. They go into a hospital (many people are isolated in shelters) and expecting and hoping to get better, but they never do. What happens to them is they die and go to meet their maker. “Are you ready to meet God”?  Because The Coronavirus, known as (COVID-19) is a disease that has stepped right out of Hell, and into a nation of people and it is turning people lives upside down and inside out, with no mercy, because it is an evil, wicked, disease, that has come upon mankind to kill and destroy. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly”. (John 10:10 KJV).  Now the worse situation, in this case, is a disease has come upon nations and there is no sure cure for it, man is struggling to get a cure.  But God says I am thy healer.

I have really been kind of out of focus, but constant in prayer for the past weeks because of the Coronavirus. Could this be because people have drifted so far from God? They have taken God out of the equation and turned to their own weakness and little power and that is not enough my friend. But how can you turn to God and accept Him for who He is if you don’t know who He is? “What did Jesus mean when he said, I am The Way and The Truth and The Life” (John 14:6). Jesus says in (John 8:58) “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, “I Am” Jesus was before Abraham, Abraham was created by God, but Jesus is eternal, He is the eternal Son of God, and with God, the Father (John 1:1-5 KJV) says this about Jesus, he is the eternally existing Son of God. 1. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”. 2. “The same was in the beginning with God”. 3. “All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made”.  4. “In him was life, and the life was the light of men”.  5. “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not”. How many people call upon God, but do not accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and who do not accept he was born of a virgin, and who do not accept Jesus as the only way to God, and who do not accept that He is the Messiah.

  • Jesus IS the son of God – Jesus IS God’s Son in the sense He is God made manifest in human flesh. (John 1:1) In the beginning was, the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. (John 1:14) And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
  • Jesus IS the only way to God – Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Him.  (John 14:6)
  • Jesus IS the Messiah – Messiah comes from the Hebrew word Mashiach and means “anointed one” or “chosen one” the equivalent to the word Christo, or, in English, Christ. The name “Jesus Christ” is the same as “Jesus the Messiah”.
  • Jesus IS born of a virgin – The Son of God is conceived in Mary by the Holy Spirit. (Luke 1:35) And the angel answered her, “the Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy – the Son of God.

He is the Sovereign God over all things. He is EL ELYON God Most High. He has supremacy over all other gods. Whatever you place at your most high that makes you feel powerful and knowledgeable, and out of touch with others because of your superior thinking, know that it is false. IT IS GOD WHO IS IN CONTROL. You need to step down off your high throne because the throne belongs to God and He is still on the throne. “God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness”.  (Psalm 47:8 KJV)

The Coronavirus is the evidence of man’s failure to surrender his knowledge and understanding of being the dominant creature over creation for a loving and supreme God who is the CREATOR of all things.

  • Could this disease have stepped out of hell because – man has forgotten about his creator God?
  • Could it be because the man says he doesn’t need God?
  • Could it be because there are so much sin and wickedness, and evil in the world?
  • Could it be because there is so much hate in the World?
  • Could it be because of man’s greed for money and power and material satisfaction the heart of man has been turned from a loving Father God?
  • Could it be because the man says he doesn’t need prayer in school, and prayer and the Word of God, the Bible is suppressed among the people?

Could it be the Coronavirus that has stepped out of hell into All nations because man says God is no longer welcome in the land? Mind you now, God is ruler over it all. Could it be man has brought punishment upon himself because of his disobedient ways, wicked ways, and sinful life? Could it be because man doesn’t even believe in the true and living God, the Great I Am God, the God that Abraham, Isaiah, and Jacob prayed to? Could it Be because man doesn’t believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God?

Could it be God is speaking to man about his non-repentance ways, and man lack of divine guidance is allowing violence of all sort to fall upon the nations and has caused the lives, health and well being of people to go into desolation and poverty? Gun violence is an unspeakable evil in the society. The country schools are in need of constant protection. Sickness and diseases are ramping loss in the nations, and hunger and homeless there is no end to them.

God’s beautiful creation the earth is moaning and groaning in trivial pain and despair. God is speaking through this COVID 19, and he is speaking aloud. Somebody needs to listen and turn all the way around unto God the Father. Pray it is not too late. Read chapter 8 in Roman verses 19-25 – “For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience”.

Jewels of Nuggets. “This is my take on this. It is time for the church to be the church. Not just a building, but people coming together in care and love for others. It is time for all people to stop hating and have a caring heart. God is calling people to seek Him and be close to Him every day, not just in the bad and troubled times, but all time. If a man says he has faith in God, and he loves God and walks with the love of Jesus in his heart, if he hides the Word of God in his heart and put on the whole armor of God daily, well, this person will know how to love and respect others”. “Faith without works is dead”.

God has total SOVEREIGN over all His creation. He is sovereign over all things whether visible or invisible, therefore He is all-knowing. Meaning God can see this Coronavirus and He knows what it is, where it came from, how it started, why it started, how long it will last, how it will leave. who will live and who will die, by His Grace and Mercy. God will work this bad time for His glory. God will turn things around for His good, that which the devil has brought upon a person, family, community or a nation for evil, God got it, He is all over it. It is time to give God a chance, and stop thinking you are capable of living a good life without Him and dying a good death without Him, believe me, you want. “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and the Lamb”.  (Revelation 22:1)

  • God is Omniscience – Means He has all the power. He has all power over all things at all times and in all ways.
  • God is Omniscient – God has total knowledge. He has the quality of knowing everything.
  • God is Omnipresent – This is another one of God’s essential attributes, His justice is also essential, and, therefore, it is necessary for Him to punish sinners who do not trust in Jesus for salvation. God is referred to as being everywhere present, and yet God maintains a place called hell, described as a place where people is removed from His present (Matthew 25:41) “Then He will say to those on his left, depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels”

There is a better place. No more tears and pain. No sickness and death. A beautiful place where Jesus has prepared for those who love Him, and in this city, He will dwell with the people and He will be the Light thereof.

ARE YOU READY TO GO TO A BETTER PLACE? If you are not ready, consider doing the following things.

  • Admit your need. (I am a sinner.) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. John 3:16 NKJV
  • Be willing to turn from your sins. (repent.) “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. Roman 3:23 NKJV
  • Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave. (God’s Bridge – The Cross) “Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. John 14:6 NKJV
  • Trust Jesus. “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved”. Roman 10:9 ESV  AND
  • “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” John 1:12 ESV

Prayer And Decrees For You — Pure Glory

by Apostle Gabriel Cross I pray today that your faith exceeds the boundaries of the past, and the limitations of your mind. I decree that your eyes would be opened to see your own value, your own attractiveness, and your Own God-given power and spheres of influence, in this world. I pray that you would […]

Psalm 23:3: “He restores my soul.”

What a lovely scripture. God is a loving God, He cares for you, and gently calls you to obey his commands because God knows what is best for you, He knows what is good for you. God the Father, the Great God loves you and wants to see you blessed. So do you need healing? Has your spirit been so broken that you cannot begin to know where you are, or even if you still have a soul worthy to be reclaimed?

  • Your soul is the principle of life, feeling, thought and actions in you, regarded as a distinct entity separate from the body, and commonly held to be separable in existence from the body, the spiritual part of humans as distinct from the physical Part.  Jewels of Nuggets ” your spiritual part is used to embody the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but your physical part is used to maneuver through a life of maze in this world”.

Some things that can destroy your soul:

  •  Pain
  •  Failure in life
  •  Abuse
  •  Divorce
  •  Finance bankrupt
  •  Sickness
  •  Homeless
  •  Refusing to accept God’s gift of Salvation in “Jesus Christ”. God has given His grace and mercy for your sick soul.
  •  Death

All the things named above and more,  your soul can be restored or healed by God. The question is “How do You Restore your Soul”.

In the Bible Passage of Psalm 23:3, it says “He restores my soul”. You need the Shepherd who leads His sheep to “green pastures”, the shepherd is the Messiah, the Lord, Jesus Christ. Jesus who dwells in your spirit will lead you to green pastures, to fresh and quiet waters. He will heal your soul with fresh flowing water, as He leads you on the path of righteousness. We who are Christians are the sheep of God’s pasture (Psalm 100:3), and only He can restore your soul. Restore means to repair or renovate, and the soul is the deepest part of us all, it is our spirit and innermost being, and God is the one who made you, so only He can restore you because only He knows what we truly need to restore our souls.

“And Jesus went all about the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and disease among the people”. (Matthew 9:35)

God has given you the answers about restoring your soul in the Bible:

  •  The Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Bible has the wisdom to everything you will ever face.
  •  It will make you wise unto salvation (2 Timothy 3:15).
  •  It will encourage you when your heart is faint-hearted. (2 Corinthians 1:3).
  •  it will be your guidebook to a life of peace and satisfaction (Psalm 119:97-105).

There are many books written by men offering worldly wisdom, but only God’s Word is truly capable of restoring the soul and offering hope in times of distress.

Jewels of Nuggets “Turn unto Holy God and get healing and restoration for the soul”.

Restoring the soul is only possible for those whose souls have been redeemed through faith in Christ. Jesus promised rest to all those that would come to Him (Matthew 11:28-30), so it is important that we are sure of our salvation and our relationship with God. Only those who are truly born again in Christ can experience the peace and joy that God has promised in His Word.

When the Soul needs healing from discouragement, trials, and temptations, thankfully God has provided for our sources of encouragement and strength.

  • He has given us His Word to guide, encourage and nourish us spiritually.
  • Spend time reading the Word, hearing it preached.
  • Most of all obeying the Word.
  • God has given us the privilege and power of prayer.
  • We need to take our problems, our discouragement, and our tiredness to God in prayer, knowing that God loves us and cares for us.
  • He has given us other Christians to encourage us and support us.
  • It is important to be a part of a healthy, well-balanced church and to regularly worship and fellowship with other believers.

Jewels of Nuggets. “We must trust God for the “Healing For The Soul”.

Anyone who needs “Healing For the Soul” from discouragement in times of trouble and tribulation is not unusual. Throughout the Bible, we see examples of godly men and women who have faced similar situations. These examples can serve as an encouragement to us today because the same God who was faithful to them then will be faithful to us today.

For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. (1Timothy 4:8)

Well, this is another Jewels of Nuggets for The Soul.  Praise The Lord!!!

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”  (Acts 2:1-4)

The Holy Spirit is a beautiful and powerful part of God.  The Holy Spirit is described in the Bible as being fully God.  Along with God the Father and God the Son (Jesus Christ), God the Spirit is the third member of the Godhead, known as the Trinity.  The Holy Spirit illuminates the minds of people and makes them yearn for God. The Holy Spirit reveals the truth of God’s word in the Bible and applies it to the hearts of people.  Our first encounter with the Holy Spirit is when He convicts us of sin and shows us we cannot live up to the righteousness of God, and convicts man of the judgment coming to him if he should die without the salvation of Jesus Christ. (John 16:8-11). When a man repents, confess his sins and receive Jesus, the Holy Spirit regenerates the dead human spirit in the body and makes it alive to become sensitive to things of God.

The Holy Spirit can supernatural empowers born again believers by the works of the Spirit:

  • The Holy Spirit Is Your Helper – Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for If I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But If I go, I will send Him to you,  (John 16:7).  When I think of the Holy Spirit, I see Him as God with us, Helping and empowering us to live a Christian life that radiates the goodness of God.  I am in constant need of the Holy Spirit to guide me daily.  As my flesh is weak and there is a tug of war between the flesh and spirit, the Holy Spirit takes control so I can be who God has called me to be.  So when you are feeling powerless or tired like you want to give up on life, continue in faith because you are not alone. “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you”. (John14:18). You can start each day knowing the Holy Spirit is there to help you.  He is the power that sustains, encourages you and keeps you on the right path, do not hesitate to call on Him.
  • The Holy Spirit Sanctifies You – And such were some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:11).  You were set apart to be unique unto God because Sanctified means to be set apart.  Believers go through the purification of sin and spiritual maturity to become more like Christ.  This is a beautiful process for a believer – to leave the old behind and become a new person in Christ.  It is a daily metaphors process, it takes time, that is why Christians must have patience.
  • He Makes You More Like Christ – “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, Even as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Corinthians 3:18). Moses experienced God’s glory on the mountain top, but we have communion with Him every day!  “Moses reflected the glory of God, whenever he was in His presence, but you and I may radiate the glory of God when we fill our hearts with the word of God. And through the working of the Holy Spirit’s power in our hearts, we will be infused and illuminates the light of Jesus in our lives through the Word of God. And by the Spirit, we will become transformed to live our lives in the likeness of Jesus Christ. Then, and only then will we become more like Christ. Our goal is to be Christlikeness, and this takes place by the working power of the Holy Spirit.
  • He Helps You To Do The Father’s Will – “Then the Spirit said unto Phillip, go near and join thyself to this chariot”.  (Acts 8:29).  Throughout the New Testament, we see how the Holy Spirit gave directions to people in many situations, for the glorification of the work of God according to the will of God.
  • The Holy Spirit Gifts You For Ministry –  “There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the same work in all of us.  A Spiritual Gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another, the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge.  The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the One Spirit gives the gift of healing.  He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages, while another is given the ability to interpret what is being said. It is the One and only Holy Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides the gift each person should have”. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11). The Holy Spirits imparts to believers gifts that are needed in the church, nobody receives all gifts but they are distributed among the body of Christ, each person receiving different gifts. The gift or gifts you receive will empower you for the calling God has placed on your life. Embrace what God has put inside of you and be His instrument for Kingdom purpose.
  • He Imparts Love – “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulations worketh patience; And patience, experience, and experience, hope, and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us”. (Roman 5:3-5).  We find love in our suffering, as we endure trials, God’s love is poured out into us through the Spirit and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit carries you and me through trials and hard times. Never doubt God in your hard season, just remember the Holy Spirit is close to you in your heart, therefore God is with you.
  • The Holy Spirit Gives Hope – “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope”.  (Roman 15:13).  Hope as God hopes. This is only possible in abundance through the power of the Holy Spirit.  Hope is what carries people through trials and tribulations.  Hope is the fuel for your soul.
  • The Holy Spirit Teaches And Gives Insight –  “But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you”.  (John 14:26).  The Holy Spirit will give you insight into the word of God when you read the Bible, and when you study the word of God for all of your spiritual growth and for the ministering of the Gospel. Holy Spirit brings to your mind understanding and truth. Have you ever had one of those moments when you were in a situation and a scripture verse you read or memorized years ago popped into your mind encouraging you at that very moment and time, well that was Holy Spirit reminding you of a verse or scripture you have learned while studying the word of God? He empowers you with the understanding and ability to recall and remember verses in the Bible that you’ve studied so you can apply them to your life situation.
  • The Holy Spirit Guides your prayers – “Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  (Romans 8:26). Sometimes when I pray there are no words in my mind to speak to God, I don’t know what to ask God, I don’t know where to start, But Holy Spirit is there to speak for me and He gives words to my prayer to God. So at that moment I lean into the Holy Spirit and let me lead me into my prayer. Thank God for Holy Spirit.
  • He Uses You For Evangelism –  “But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”.  (Acts 1:8). Our whole purpose on earth is telling others about Jesus. Making disciples of others by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the most important part of our purpose unto God. Haveing Holy Spirit with us will help us to be a witness and tell others about what Jesus accomplished on the cross and how he conquered death by rising from the dead and ascending back to the Father in heaven and became victoriously over All things.

Don’t be afraid, the Bible says fear “Not”, trust Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into being the Kingdom Witness that God is calling you to become.

Well, this is another Jewel of Nuggets for The Soul.   Praise the Lord!!!

I am blessed by “The Most High God” (EL ELYON)

God (EL ELYON) has blessed me to see a new decade enter end.  I perceive the 2020 decade of years to be a GOOD one.  I will keep God with me and carry Him everywhere I travel.  If you can keep God with you, you will have good success.

I perceive 2020 to be a good year for me.

I perceive 2020 to be a healthy year for me.

I perceive 2020 to be a year of physical healing for me.

I perceive 2020 to be a peaceful year for me.

I perceive 2020 to be a joyful year for me.

I perceive 2020 to be a spiritual awakening for me.

I perceive 2020 to be a year of spiritual and emotional healing.

I perceive in 2020 that I will pursue God and God will pursue me to the end result of drawing me closer to Him, and in the closeness, I will attain the destiny that He has bestowed upon me from the foundation of the earth. I perceive that God is calling me to a higher level now and here in this season of my lifetime, and when I reach the goal that God has set for me, even though I know not the goal that he has set for me, but in my purpose, I will find my goal and complete it in Christ Jesus, if I am faithful to His calling and obedient unto His Holy Word, “I will” attain the destiny He has for me.  I perceive that I am no longer in a season of Holding, but this is my season to soar high above my fears, worries, lack, past failures, past discouragement and even pass stumbling blocks that the enemy has tried to put in my way. I am an overcomer. Let me say that again, I am an overcomer and I will prevail.  Praise God, praise God, Praise God, Hallelujah!!!

I am so blessed. My son is blessed. My grandson is blessed. My family is blessed. We all are blessed.  The church is blessed for the Lord Jesus Christ gave his life and his blood was shed for her. I perceive that God wants to move the church to a higher dimension in 2020. This is the year of restoration and recovering the lost things of God.  Bring the Joy of the Lord back into the church. Bring back the prayer warriors into the church. Bring back the unadulterated uncompromising word of God back into the church. Bring back the love for reading the Bible, and studying the word of God. Bring back, Ministers, Teachers, Evangelists, Pastors, Bishops, Apostles, Prophets, Laypeople and all people that have a heart for God, and God will see them as the apple of His eye. “For thus saith the LORD of hosts; after the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye”. Zechariah 2:8

For I perceive 2020 will be a higher dimension of pouring out of the Holy Spirit upon the people of God. The promise of the baptism of the Holy Spirit was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost. Acts 2:1-4. After the day of Pentecost God has poured the Holy Spirit into every believer at the time of salvation, when we were placed in union with Jesus Christ to work a work in us along with other believers in the body of Christ, and as the church of Christ continues to grow.  Jewels of Nuggets “Praise the Lord”. When we, the church submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit, He can work a work in us to the pouring out of the anointing of God in a higher dimension. “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit”.  1 Corinthians 12:13

My storage is empty, Lord, and I am available to you. I perceive your blessing for me Lord, in this New Year 2020, as I receive the pouring out of the Holy Spirit in a higher dimension.

Well, this is another Jewel of Nuggets for the Soul.  Praise the Lord!!!

“Touch not my anointed ones, do my prophets no harm!”  When you read this scripture have an open mind to see the Words God was speaking for our benefits.  “Do not touch My anointed ones, do my prophets no harm” is a scripture Christians take to mean they are promised protection by God, and He says do no harm to His anointed.  All of the bad things that happen to slide into your life, we should remember the promises of the Lord God. This scripture is not used to defend unrighteous people who know they are teaching and ministering out of the Will of God, and they still call down fire and brimstone on people by using the scripture (1 Chronicle 16:22)KJV. Ministers of the Gospel is commanded to preach, teach, and evangelize according to the truth of God’s word, and then we can stand on (1 Chronicle 16:22), saying “do no harm to His anointed” When we read Acts 9:1-18 we are made aware of how Saul was threatening Christians to harm them because they were disciples of the Lord. He even went to the high priest and asked for a letter of permission to bound up any Christians that he found on the road of Damascus and deliver them bound unto Jerusalem.  Saul was not saved and he hated Christians, we also have an enemy called the devil that hate us.  Jesus warned us about the devil. “Be sober-minded; be watchful; your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour”.  1Peter 5:8.  God’s eyes are upon the wicked “And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible”  (Isaiah 13:11).  But Jesus interrupted Saul’s journey on the road of Damascus, he found himself facing a light from Heaven that knocked him of his horse, and falling to the ground he could not see anything for the light was brighter than bright.  But he heard a voice calling out to him saying “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me”? And he said, “who are you, Lord”? And he said,  “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.  But rise and enter the city, and you will be told what to do”. Saul was set-up by God, he was persecuting the people of God, but God used his wickedness and evilness toward Christians people for the furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  If it is necessary, God will use your enemies for a channel to get a blessing to you. “do no harm to His anointed”.  Jesus, got Saul’s attention letting him know, Saul I see you and your wicked ways towards my people and it will not continue, I will use you for the Gospel’s sake, a far more better way of living a purpose-driven life.  Saul was knocked to the ground and when he got up he could not see and had to be led by the hand into Damascus, and for three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank.  We who are Christian have many trials and tribulations, and we must pray to our God at the beginning of the tribulations for help. “And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.  (Luke 6:12).  Jewels of Nuggets “If Jesus prayed surely we must pray, we must pray continually none stop”. God will answer our prayer right on time, His timing, all you need to do is stand in faith, he will change situations, he will move mountains, in time of sickness seek God first before you take any other actions and watch God work and if need be, he will make your enemies your footstool. “The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool” (Psalm 110:1). Your enemies will be blinded to what they were bringing against you, God will stop them in their tracts.  God worked miracles and fulfill His promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, when he made a covenant with Abraham, and an oath unto Isaac.  And He confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant.  (1 Chronicles 16:15-18).  (Genesis 50:24).  (Exodus 2:24). Through these miracles, God created a nation of Abraham’s descendants that would bless the entire world. (Genesis 12:1-3 chapters).  Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their descendants were few in number, they lived as wandering strangers in a strange land. Through all their travels and travails, God protected them, increased their number, and prevented the powerful rulers of the lands where they wondered upon to live from harming them. What I am trying to get over is no one or nothing can prevent God’s promise from being fulfilled in you, even against all odds. “Do no harm to His anointed”.  Nothing can stop the purpose of your life here on the earth.  You will find your destiny and no one will bring harm to you while you are pursuing your God-given purpose.

DESTINY: The predetermined, usually inevitable or irresistible, course of events.

PURPOSE: The reason for which something exists or is done, made or used.

Jewels of Nuggets “find your Purpose and you will know your Destiny”

Well, another “Jewels of Nuggets for the Soul”.  Praise the Lord!!!

“God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow … and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  Philippians 2:9-11.  God has exalted Him (Jesus) above everything he is King of King and Lord of Lord.  Revelation, the last book of the Bible that tells us what will come in the last days at the return of Jesus.  Revelation tells us Jesus is given the full title “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS”  (Rev. 19:16).  But Revelation 17:14 switches it: Lord of lords and King of kings and this means He has power and authority to exercise absolute dominion over all the realms of God’s creations, Jesus is Lord of Lord.  Jesus was with God at creation, He is part of the Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and when we speak of realm it means all of creation.  In John’s vision, Jesus is returning to rule the world and establish His earthly kingdom, as he predicted in (Mark 13:26).   When Jesus is called “King of kings and Lord of lords”, it means that, in the end, all other rulers will be conquered or abolished, and He alone will reign supreme as King and Lord of all the earth.  There is no power, no king, no lord who can oppose Him and win.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.  Matthew 1:18

There are references to the absolute rule of Jesus and His preeminence over other rulers throughout scriptures.

For examples:

  • Isaiah 40:23-24
  • Daniel 7:13-14

In (Hebrews 1:3-4) we get a view of how the scriptures above speak of Jesus.  “He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the word of His power”.

Jesus was humble in His earthly ministry and His humiliation resulted in glorification. “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; “And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”.

“Jesus our Lord and King”.  Jewels of Nuggets; it matters not whether on the earth among the living or under the earth among the dead and your soul meets the face of God you will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, says God.

Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords means there is no higher authority.  His reign over all things is absolute and inviolable.  God raised Him from the dead and placed Him over all things,  “far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.  And he put all things under His feet and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is the body, the fullness of him who fills all in all”.

Jewels of Nuggets: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS! It is the time of year when all girls and boys and even men and women and even the older ones, look for a special gift from Santa Clause. And that is a good thing. They are trying to hold onto Love within their selves to say I can love, I can give, I can make my family and friends happy. And that is good, love makes the world go around (so they say).  But God is Love and there is no darkness in Him. God gave us Love when he sent His Son to be born to a virgin girl. Keep Love in your heart.  Santa Clause is that magical mythical power that helps spread love and care in the hearts of us all at Christmas time. This world is so far gone into darkness, we seem to say anything goes, anything this flesh wants to do that is what I will do. Evil and wickedness prevail.  But I must say, God sees it all and He is still on the throne.  We who are the church, if you would read your Bible, do what the Bible says, love God, love others and then love yourself, if you would help others, witness to the lost sinner and tell others about God’s Love and bring them into the kingdom of God.  Stop being so stuck-up and selfish and having this, I am too good and I am too pretty mentality to talk to you, to even tell you about the Word of God.  We who are the church need to come down off your high horses and get to the ground and see people with a heart of compassion.

JESUS IS KING! Not us. We are servants of the Most High God. Act like it.
