“Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy if from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD”.

“For lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth”. (Amos 9:9)

Every sifting come by divine command and permission. God says He will sift the house of Israel, but the house of Jacob will not be destroyed. God says He will sift the righteous from among the world, God is a righteous judge and “His eyes are upon the sinful and wicked nation, our graciously God will separate between the righteous and the wicked, He will deliver them from all the world’s calamities, even though some of you who are righteous maybe pious, God will not see you as wicked, for the judge of all the earth will do right, more than right as to slay the righteous with the wicked. “And I will bring the third part through the fire, and I will refine them as silver is refined, and I will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, it is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God”. (Zechariah 13:9). “That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as wicked, that be far from thee: shall not the judge of all the earth do right?” (Genesis 18:25). So the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sake.” (Genesis 18:26). Sin will take you away from God, but where the righteous pilgrimage journey may take him, God has his eyes upon him. Whatever has shaken your life to the core, or whatever it is that have scattered every plan of direction in your life, God is saying today, He will not take His eyes off you, He will take care to separate you from the wicked, “(God will take care to separate between the corn and chaff by sifting and letting the chaff fall to the ground and the corn preserved (saved). God says the righteous one among them, not one of them shall be lost. God says I shift the righteous, Satan want to steal the word of God from your heart, and he may be holding you in sin, or holding you in bondage of generational curses, but keep your faith in God, because the over-ruling hand of the master will accomplish the work that He started in you. He will keep you pure through the storm that may be beating upon your life, and He will destroy the enemy by the very destructive process that Satan intended for you. God can use the work of Satan for His glory, and for our eternal profit. The Lord Jesus will surely use the wind from His nostrils and divide his precious ones from the wicked, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). Jewels of Nuggets, don’t let the Lord say to you when you meet Him in heaven, “But he shall say, I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from me, you workers of iniquity”. (Luke 13:27). The winnowing process of the Holy Spirit must be performed, it will reveal all truth according to scriptures and the husk and chaff must fly before the Holy Spirit, leaving only true worshipers.

Just as wheat is preserved by the farmer. God is careful that He doesn’t lose one soul that come unto Him, God himself sifts, and therefore it is stern and terrible work; He sifts the believer in all places, “among all nations of people,” He is very effectual in His sifting, “like corn that is sifted in a sieve,” and yet after all these things: tears, loneliness, heartbreak, fears, worries, trials, sickness, death, not one of His chosen ones is lost. The Apostle Paul, write “who shall Separate Us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation,, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? “As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long, we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Jewels of Nugget “I love this scripture, it gives recognition to the true worshiper after the effectual shifting by the hand of God, The verse says, “Nay (No), in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” (Romans 8:35-37). Knowing who’s you are, make the journey easy. Jesus said, “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light,” Every individual believer is precious in the sight of the Lord, a shepherd would not lose one sheep, just as if you should lose a coin or child you would search frantically trying to find it. And you are just mere human from the dust of the earth, but you are made in the likeness of God to feel, care, and love others, have relationship, and hope for blessing, and accomplishments here on earth. Well, the master of our soul will not lose not one of His redeemed people. “Let the redeemed of the Lord, say so.” So therefore if we are the redeemed of the Lord, we can rejoice that we are preserved in Christ Jesus.

When God sifts the righteous and un-righteous everything is burned up except only that which can stand the fire.

“His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire”. (Luke 3:17)

“Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (Matthew 25:41)
