JEWELS FOR THE SOUL

Don't call me strong! How can you call me strong?
Don't you see me? Do you see my pain?
Do you see my struggles?
Don't you see I am alone? No one to hold my hands and say I love you. No one to look into my eyes, and I look into his eyes, and we see love there for us.
Don't call me strong, I have no strength but the strength of God.
Don't call me strong, it is in the strength of God I go, I do and live. For I am weak, it is Him who makes me strong. God says to me: " My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness" 2 Corinthians 12:8-9.
Don't call me strong, you don't know me. You have not walked in my shoes. For the shadows of my life is dark and gloomy. A shadow of worry, fear, and death. God says to me: "Say to them that are fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you".
How can you say I am strong?
You see me strong because it is what you see in me, but son, it is the strength of God you see in me. I am strong for you. It is what God gives me, to give to you.
But now I can see why you call me strong, it is because I am mother. God made me your mother. But now at last! You see me. You see the strength of your God, and my God in me, You see the working of the Spirit.
Amen. Praise God!!!

GOD IS MY STRENGTH!!!

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
