WHAT CAN SEPARATE US FROM GOD’S LOVE

Romans 8:31-39

God’s Everlasting Love
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? v31
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? v32
Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. v33
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen. who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. v34
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? v35
As it is written:
"For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter". v36
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. v37
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, v38
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. v39

Praise be to God! If God is for me, or you, there is no need to worry, because nothing else is more powerful than God. Who is more powerful than God, who, no one can stand against us when God is for us. God did not spare His own Son, in His providence Will, he delivered Jesus Christ, His only begotten son up for the cross to save us. God has given us all thing because in Christ Jesus, all things were given. So, who can bring a charge against God, no man can, it is God who justifies all things. Who can condemn anything or anyone, it is Christ who died to condemn sin in everyman, there is no man perfect, for everyone is a sinner, saved by the grace of God. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God", Yes, Christ died for the sins of the world, and is now alive in heaven sitting on the right hand of God making intercession for us. So, who or what will separate us from the love of God? Will it be tribulation (no), distress (no), persecution (no), famine or nakedness, or peril, or the sword? No, not any of
these things will be able to separate us from the love of God, because
a. Love is what God is.
b. God created us in love, and love can't be separated from love.
c. As long as we are in God and God in us, we cannot be separated from the
     love of God
We are counted like sheep for the slaughter every day we live. We are persecuted for living our life for Christ Jesus in our daily walk when we:
a. Read our Bible.
b. Live our lives by God's word, the Bible.
c. Walk by faith, trusting in God for our help we are hated in the mist of it.
d. Say we are Christians and live a life of Christianity.
e. When we refuse to accept the world way of living.
f. chose God's way to love, forgive, kindness and all the spiritual good
fruits, and not walk in the pathway of sinners and evil.

But in all these things we face daily in our lives we will not give up, for we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

And I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

  1. This is one of those passages we go to often and for good reason.

  2. Yes, we need to keep the reason in our heart why we keep the “Faith”. So I can say like Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the Faith.
