Jewels For the Soul

Does your heart live in God? You are created in “Him” with the eternal breath of God, the life of God. The Word of God will stand forever, all else will fade away, but God’s Word is enterally written in the universe.

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth”. Genesis 1:26nkjv

So, God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27nkjv

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Genesis 1:7nkjv

These verses say your source of living come from God, that He created you because of His own desire and God loves you so much that He gave Jesus Christ, His Son to die so you may be forgiven of your sins and live in the righteousness of Jesus Christ when you make Him Lord of your life.

Psalms 5:11 nkjv

But let all those Rejoice who put their trust in you; Let them ever shout for joy, because you defend them; let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.

Do your rejoicing come from reading and studying God’s Word. Is your heart in the Word of God praying without ceasing, giving thanks “IN” all things in your life?

1 Thessalonians 2:13 nkjv

For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the Word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.

1 Thessalonian 5:16,17,18 nkjv

Pray without ceasing! Rejoice always! In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Being a Christian, and a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ the Messiah, is all about where we spend the most of our heart time. There need to be a constant awareness in your life that God is present with you in every situation and circumstance. I can tell you with all of the offbeat drama in the world today, you look to east and west to north and south, you see evil, wickedness, sins and unrighteousness and wars is before our eyes. In these times we need the Word of God, we need God. Is it God who is the unseen present and companion in all your ups and downs, the best choice is God? When you push God back you will fail, and the further you push God back the more wars and deification, and violence you will see. The world will continue to prevail in sinfulness, wickedness, injustice and lawlessness without God at the core of its foundation. The world needs God, and the world needs to draw close to God and magnify the ever present of God in all of its endeavors. The world needs to pick up the Bible and read it. It needs to get to know its creator, there is a creator, an almighty spiritually being who knows all things, sees all things, and can move anything. He is GOD, the God of Abraham, Isaiah, and Jacob, and He is our God also, the God of all people. These verses are telling us to see God with our heart, if we see the heart of God in the scriptures of the Bible, then we can see the love of God for His people, all who will come to Him and believe in Him. And from there man can love his fellow neighbors to support and help them in a time of need. ” And David went out to meet them, and answered and said to them, “If you have come peaceable to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look and bring judgement”. (1Chronical 12:17). And if we can love and trust in God the wicked ones can’t do us any harm. Just for me to refocus on the Word during my day and realize and know that God is ever present with me in my daily life from day to day, gives me courage to face the day and be strong in the Lord. My joy come for me knowing that I am never along.

So, people pray without ceasing, it is the ongoing conversation we have, Spirit to Spirit, as a child to our daddy “Abba God”. In God we are blessed, He sent His Word to bless us, He left His Word to carry us through life for eternity.

Deuteronomy 12:28 nkjv

Observe and obey all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you and your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the sight of the Lord your God.

Jeremiah 19:15 nkjv

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring on this city and on all her towns all the doom that I have pronounced against it, because they have stiffened their necks that they might not hear My Words.

Luke 11:28 nkjv

But He said, More than that, blessed are those who hear the Word of God and keep it.

Thanking God for His word and rejoicing in the Word bring to us a great reminder that we are blessed, no matter of the trials we may have to endure in this life, we know we shall overcome in victory if we are save in the name of Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9 says that “If you confess with your mouth the Lord JESUS and believe IN your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”. In The Word we learn that we are blessed no matter what the outward circumstances may look like.
