THE SECRET OF A GOOD LIFE

Love is the secret of a good Life. Knowing the purpose of love, how to recognize love, and why do human beings need love is the start of learning The Secret of a Good Life. As we read in the bible at 1 Corinthians 13-4-8, we can see Love in action with all the essentials to show man, The Secret of Love, and “The Secret of a Good Life”.

verse 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; verse 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; verse 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; verse 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things endures all things. verse 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. In the Bible the definition of love is called “agapi” or “agape” in Hebrew and Greek, and what the Bible has to say about love has a lot to do with the emotion of unconditional love with no partiality, and that is the core to Christianity. In the Christian church among the people of God, agape is considered to be the love originating from God his gift of love given to mankind in the form of Jesus Christ. The ultimate love, the love above all love is God’s love. Mankind is special to God, He took the time to create man in His own image, but also man has the spirit of God living in his heart, for God breathed life into man’s nostril, He breathed on man (Genesis 1:7). God love is all-consuming, all-empowering, all forgiving, it is alive and not dead. God’s love is kind and eternal. His love lives inside all born again Christians. The Christian’s heart should be the symbol of love that God lives in us, and God is the symbol of the love that came down to Earth to all people. The secret of a good life is “knowing God”. When we read the Bible, we find it to be a testament of God’s Word to the people to learn about Him, His laws, commandments and His Will. In the Bible we see the fall of mankind and God’s compassionate and gracious plan for salvation (Jesus Christ). The Bible brings instructions, convictions, correction, and training in God’s way so you can be equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Bible is a love story from God to the people of the world, and all who would believe in Him. We learn along the journey how to love and accept love; we learn to forgive others, and to forgive ourselves. Christians also learn to love God by obeying the scriptures. “If you love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). When we read the scriptures, we find how to fight the battle in love, rather than in evil and hate. Love is what keeps us from fighting with our enemies, but teaches us to love our enemies, it helps us to forgive, and be kind to one another. Read what Jesus said in (Matthew 22:37-40) about love. Love can also stand for romantic attraction or strong feelings towards those close to you; but for a Christian, love also stands for truth, respect, honor, and obedience that we hold in our hearts for our God. From (John 15:12) the scripture tells people to “Love one another”, that is the other commandment God gives to people. The word love was made to connect those around us with feelings of joy and happiness. However, (I often say this), love does not come easy and simply, saying you love someone is different than showing it. Most people don’t realize they can make a hurting person or family member, friend or anyone feel better by just, holding the crying person hand, by calling and asking, “did you get home safe”, or by comforting with a kind word or a gentle hug in time of pain, sickness or distress, by praying to God for someone. Love can be shown in many ways. Another God-fearing way is by being a faithful and Godly partner before and after marriage.

“True love” is the secret of a good life. The key to remember is “love is trusting in our God, love is being faithful to your wife or husband, and family members, love is being kind to others and love is being kind and patient with the world around you”.

Let us look at “Love” deeper, it is a complicated word, and believe me every human who has a heart, mind, soul and body needs to know God, understand God, and love God, before they can understand love. Look at this, “Love” is alive on our wedding day (God arranged the first wedding), “Love” is there the moment we start our family, the moment the baby is born (the beauty of God made it happen), “Love” is alive at the dinner table when we give thanks to God for our family and food. “Love” is lifting your sins up to God during church service. “Love” is praying to God with a sincere heart, “Love” is being there for those in need. And “Love” is what we have all prayed to God for.

“The secret of a good life” Is Love. So, look at this, if you’re looking for guidance in life, you need to first seek God, when you seek Him, you will find Him, and when you find Him, your heart will be filled with love, for the scriptures says: “God is Love” The book of John and Psalms are both great starting places to read about love, and how God is present within our hearts.

Bible Verses on Agape Love Found in Scripture:

  • 1. “Love” one another.” John 15:12
  • 2. “Do everything in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14
  • 3. “If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge,
    • and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing”. 1 Corinthians 13:2
  • 4. “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of
    • sins”. 1 Peter 4:8
  • 5. “And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is
    • love”. 1 Corinthians 13:13

Learn to love. Learn to say, I love you. It’s the oxygen for the relationship, telling somebody you love them feeds the relationship, it keeps it alive, it reinforces your feeling, and helps remind others that you are there for them and that they matter to you. “The Secret to a Good Life is Love”. You should tell God you love Him when you pray, you should also tell others you love them. In the Bible, Jesus tells us how to love God: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind”. (Matthew 22:37). In other words, God wants us to love Him with our whole being and in every possible way, and all that we do, show love in it just as we are doing it unto the Lord.

Now we know The Secret to a Good Life. “IT IS LOVE”
