JEWELS FOR THE SOUL

There is healing in Jesus. He is The “God Head” and all power is in Him. God still heal when the doctor shakes his head, and turn and say there is nothing else we can do. When you are told such words it is hard to hear, but it is reality. Trust God in all things, pray, and pray without ceasing. Pray in Faith to the Heavenly Father, God Himself will hear the prayers of the righteous. Stand on Faith in God before you call on man for your healing, or seek man for your healing. You will Pray, and pray without ceasing.” (1Thessalonians 5:17). says for us to “Pray without ceasing” God has given doctor wisdom and knowledge to use it for earthly healing of the people. “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraided not; and it shall be given him. (James 1:5). It will serve you good to seek professional help for healing. But it is God who we should put our Faith and trust in for healing and God will work out your healing journey for you. And you will be at peace.

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and by His stripes we are healed”. (Isaiah 53:5)

Mark 5:24-34

Now Jesus had crossed over again by boat to the other side, a great multitude gathered to Him; and he was by the sea. And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus was his name. And when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet, and begged Him, earnestly, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live”.

“So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.

A multitude of people were walking with Jesus, and thronged Him as they walked to Jairus house. My spiritual eye can imagine they were talking, bumping against each other and laughing.

“Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years,”

Because this woman had a bleeding condition, and the issue had continued for twelve years. She had spent all she had seeking help from many physicians and no treatment was known for her condition. We also know she was not permitted to the temple for Jewish religious ceremonies. According to the Law she was unclean, and anything or anyone she touched would become unclean.

“and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had, and was no better, but rather worse.”

All these twelve years of this woman seeking help, she had found none. She was getting worse and worse.

“When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment”.

This woman was in the crowd pressing around Jesus which means that each person who bumped into her would have become unclean, including Jesus. But after twelve years of suffering, she was obviously desperate for a miracle. This woman was in pain, she was hurting and in lots of humiliation.

“For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well”.

This woman put her faith to work. “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone”. (James 2:17)

“Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction”.

“And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said,

“Who touched my clothes”?

Our Holy God, walking on earth as a man. saving man, healing man, casting demons from man, raising man from the dead, Jesus is the Bright Morning Star light among the people. He lights our way, He is the light of the world. Follow Jesus and walk in the light, He is the way the Bible tell you so. Some of Jesus Holy Ghost power left Him when this sick and desperate woman touched Him. Jesus, our God, who is full of compassion toward His people struggled with the darkness of the touch, He struggled with the urgency of the touch. He knew it was a desperate touch of sickness in need of a miracle, so with heavy mourning He asked;

“Who touched my clothes”?

“But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, “Who touch me”?

His disciples were not fill with the Holy Spirit yet, because Jesus was still with them, He had not returned to the Father yet, So the other one just like Him (The Holy Ghost) had not come yet. Jesus knew this was not just a throng, it was a touch of desperation. His disciples did not understand what Jesus was speaking about.

” And He looked around to see her who had done this thing”.

Jesus, the Messiah, the one who saves and gives everlasting life, the Savior of the world, the King of King, our God everlasting Father, had stood still, waiting for the one who had touched Him, and were so desperate for a miracle. Jesus who is our Eternal Father wanted to know who touched Him. Our God is filled with kindness and compassion because as soon as the woman touch Jesus garment the bleeding stopped, and she knew she was healed. Jesus could have healed the woman and kept on walking to His original destination. Only He and the woman would have known what had taken place. But He didn’t do that. Jesus stopped what He was doing and acknowledged the result of this woman faith: Her faith had brought her complete and instantaneous healing.

“But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what had happen to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth”.

Her touch did not make Jesus unclean, Jesus touch made her clean. People were pressing and pushing into Him from all over, yet our Savior, our awesome God, stops, turns, and asks, “Who touched my clothes”? Jesus perceived in Himself that power had gone out from Him. The woman was fearing what could happen to her, she knew she received healing in her body, her miracle was given. “But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told told Him the whole truth”

“And He said to her,

“Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction”.

Jesus spoke to the woman in a familiar way, he called her Daughter, we are sons and daughters of God by faith in Jesus Christ, our savior, our Messiah. She probably was familiarly with the Ministry of Jesus, how he went all about the cities in Israel healing the sick, and she considered in her own heart “Jesus can heal me”. But this woman was desperate for healing, having little or no hope because of what she was experiencing. (same with us when we exhaust every mean of healing and nothing is working, I would say there is a need to reconsider what or who you are putting your faith in. There is no need to wait until you get big faith, the bible says you can have little faith as mustard seed faith. This woman took a chance to put her faith to work, and nothing else mattered, she said, if I could just touch His clothing I will be healed. Faith Works. Jesus looked upon her and clears up any misconceptions about her healing, He says to her “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be free from your suffering”. What a Mighty God we serves, He moves our pain and suffering, He is the Everlasting God who cares. God is moved to action by our faith. And He is never too busy to answer your prayer and move on your behalf by your faith.

“This is what Jesus said about faith “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you”. (Matthew 17:20)

Whatever things you ask for when you pray, believe that you have received them, and you will have them. Amen!!!

• Jesus called her by a familiar name as daughter, for we are sons and daughter of God, by faith in Jesus, and her faith in Jesus gave her access to Jesus for healing. She believed by faith she would be healed of her affliction if she could just touch His clothes, and that as strong faith. For sure this woman was familiar with how Jesus traveled all Israel healing. Her faith had healed her, and the blessing of Jesus made her whole.
