Proverbs 16:1-9
The plans of a man heart is set in motion by himself. He offers up comfort to himself of what shall his life be like, what dreams and asperation of visions shall he pursue and bring to a fulfillment of a life well lived. Man, may plan what his life will be like, but the preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord. Man may say what he will do with his life, but the end result is from the Lord. But when man does not offer unto God his life the end result is disconnection, failure, disaster and a troublesome way of life.
Man wants his life to be good, satisfying and filled with gratification on earth. “Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me” (Matthew16:24). If man want to have satisfying life, he must put the old man to death, and put on the new man in Jesus Christ, by picking up His cross. Jesus will walk with you along the way and carry your burdens. All the ways of a man are clean and seem wright in his own eyes, but the LORD weights the spirit. The plans that man has for his life may seem well and good before him, but God looks at the heart, so there is a purpose behind what you do in your life, why you do it?, is it for evil or good?, is it from hate or love?, is it because of jealously or a need?. The Bible says man shall not “Covet” his neighbors because of what he has or because he want what he has. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey; or anything that is your neighbor”. (Exodus 20:17)
Work for the Lord. All you do, do it your best, as your best go to the Lord, so all your works do it as you would do it for the Lord. Commit your works unto the LORD, and your thoughts shall be established. Do your works as if the Lord was in your physical presence to look upon your works, and then your thoughts will be turned unto the Lord, and your thoughts will be turned unto righteousness and established in the Lord.
“The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil”
Man Heart Devises His Way. Every one who is proud in the heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. Many proverbs warn that the sin of pride is a dangerous offense. “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall”. This is also in the Bible about pride “Better to live humbly with the poor than to share plunder with the proud”. (Proverbs 16:18-19)
By God mercy and truth your sins and iniquity was purged. Man sins forgiven, but for our chastisement of peace and the iniquity of sins, it was all put upon Him, the Lamb of God. “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus was “Wounded” for sins He did not commit. God only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God sent to earth to die upon a cross for the sins of the world. His death was like no other death that had taken place on the earth. There will never be another death like Jesus on the earth. Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Savior, our Messiah, our Salvation. Jesus, God in the flesh who Love the Father and obeyed the Father even unto death on the cross. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). And by fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
“When a man’s ways please the LORD, he make even his enemies to be at peace with him”.
It is better to be a righteous servant of God than to be lost among the unrighteous in sin. It is better to have little world gains, than to have great revenues without a righteous God to call upon in your moments of despair.
“A man’s heart devises his way: but the LORD directed his steps.
