Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
I believe making the right choices present a problem to Christians today in a very real way, as we consider the fact to make right choices we need to make some sacrifices in life and to many of us sacrifices are hard to do, and making changes in our life from what the flesh desire is a struggle. But making the wise choice to follow the Word of God is the best choice to make. But to enlighten you a little, Jesus says, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: V. 14. “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it”. Matthew 7:13-14. Your first choice is to enter the right gate, and the way you succeed at entering this gate is by accepting God’s only son, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you must enter in at the right gate, Jesus is the way. Jesus is the Messiah, he said no one comes to the Father, except by me. So, choose wisely. “Jewels of Nuggets” When the right choice is made for service in the kingdom of God everything else in life will work for good in life. First God’s purpose for your life must be recognized so the blessing of God will follow, God wants his kingdom ministry to be worked and the Gospel of Jesus to be preached and taught to all people of the world. Jesus says, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all things will be given to you as well”. Matthew 6:33. Walk the straight and narrow pathway in faith, prayer, trust, obedient and the fear of God, in Love, ask anything of God within his Will he will give it unto you.”
We live in a great big large world that is created with so much color and beauty. From one end of this earth to the other end we can not begin to understand all the wonders and magnificate wonders of the lands, islands, beaches, and the wonder of beautiful cities, and mountains, hills, valleys and deep green forestry that you cannot begin to comprehend it’s magnificence. God the creator of all thing is a knowledgeable and all-knowing Spirit who reached out over the universe and moved upon it and spoke all the beautiful things into existence. God himself, looked at all he had made and exclaimed! “It is good”. We are blessed, he planted us in a world of a beautiful maze to have dominion over it. We must choose what is best for man’s existence on earth because it has been compromised over to what is evil. We the human race, “man” is left with decisions to make, in a world that is much more bigger than man, a world that is emerged in so many unwise decisions and evil works and wicked devices. We now live in a fallen world where sin is rampant, injustice is common, and many conflicts abound. But believe it or not we live in a very intelligent world, created by a God that has no beginning and no end, but man has compromised his dominion over the earth to the evil one, Satan himself. One of the most profound New Testament expression of God’s plan for the natural world is in Roman 8:18-23. It powerfully depicts the apocalyptic expectation that at the end of history God will reverse the damage from the fall not only to humanity but even to nature itself. V22.”For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now”. This is called Paul’s expectation of “the apocalyptic triumph of God”. This apocalyptic perspective emphasizes “the hope in the dawning victory of God and the imminent redemption of the created order, which he has inaugurated in Christ. Soon God will take back his creation, He will set things back to order and override all of man’s wrong choices he made and lost dominions over the earth and caused it to be in chaotic. But a loving God gave man the option of choice, He did not make robots that would choose according to His GOOD WISHES, He gave mankind a choice to choose life or death. What kind of choices are you making in a world where you can choose whatever you desire in the flesh. But always remember that your choices will always be close by you, no matter if they are good or bad. To put things straight it is the bad choices that usually stay closest to you, always reminding you of your bad choice, it is here where Satan is in your ear stealing your peace and throwing darts right at your mind. Choose life over death, choose good over evil, choose God and walk the straight and narrow pathway. You can do so because the Holy Spirit will guide and show you the way, He has a road map and it is called the Bible, the Holy Spirit got divine authority and guidance over every word that God has spoken in the Bible and He can reveal to your understanding what the Word of God is speaking to your heart. Therefore you will be able to choose wisely.
CHOOSE WISELY:
- Choose life in Jesus – and be set free from the law of sin and death – because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death
- Choose life in Jesus – and be set free from the curse of the law – Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree”.
- Choose life in Jesus – and receive deliverance from sin – we all are sinners and only God can deliver mankind from sin. God himself came in human flesh in Jesus Christ confirming the world unto himself, and by his grace, he offered mankind salvation, the forgiveness of All of man/woman sins.
- Choose life in Jesus – and receive everlasting life in Jesus Christ – He is the bread of life John 6:35, says “I am the Bread of Life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst”.
- Choose life in Jesus – and receive forgiveness of your sins – God has released you from his Just penalty of sin. In Jesus Christ, we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- Choose life in Jesus – and receive salvation – the deliverance from danger and suffering, from the wrath of God for his judgment of sin, and receive eternal and spiritual deliverance.
This day I call the heavens and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Deuteronomy 30:19-20.
Well, another jewels of Nuggets for the Soul. Praise God!!!
