WHEN YOUR FAITH IS CHALLENGED

Things happen that will challenge our faith.  circumstances will arise in life that will cause us to question our belief. For example, you may question “why isn’t my prayer being answered” or “how can I be sure I am saved”, now just because you have questions, that is not a reason to feel ashamed.  Having struggled in your faith walk, do not mean that you are weak. Neither does it mean that you are not “Saved”?  Jesus said “He that believeth and is baptized shall be Saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned. When your faith is challenged, stand believing in God, for God so loved the world that he gave his best to it, He gave his Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. believe what you know is the truth “For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved”. When your faith is challenged, stand firm on the Bible, and trust what God speaks to you in the scriptures. Jewels of Nuggets: “Did you believe in Jesus Christ in the beginning”?  As we read in (Ephesians 1:13)”In whom you also trusted, after that, you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise”. In the beginning, you and I trusted God for our salvation. God sent Jesus Christ into the world to save us from our sin, and the fatal disaster of eternal damnation, so don’t stumble in your faith. Your faith is what saved you and I. “And he(Jesus) said to the woman, “Thy faith hath saved thee, go in peace. (Luke 8:12)”Those by the way side are they that hear, then come the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be “Saved”. The devil and this earthly flesh is our problem. The devil will come and still the Word of Truth which your heart has to believe, he will try to take it from your mind, but we must let the same mind that was in Christ Jesus be in us. “So put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” “The devil a thief” (John 10:10) tell us exactly what the enemy is, he is a thief,  he comes in many ways,  in life struggles, by your friends, by your family, by your career and in sin, sickness and death, and many more storms and trials in our lives, he can rob, steal and kill our Faith, thus, destroying your future. “The thief cometh not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy, but Jesus said, “I come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” Abundant live in Jesus people, I want Jesus, I want Jesus in every part of my life. How about you? The apostle Paul writes (Galatians 2:20) “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me”.  Now the devil only wants to bring disaster in your life by any way that he can if you allow your faith to be challenged. The word “Steal” in the Greek is Klepto. It is where we get the word kleptomaniac, which means someone who steals for the thrill of taking. When the enemy is operating in your life, he is taking from you because he enjoys bringing pain upon you because of your faith in Jesus Christ. “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endures to the end shall be Saved. (Matthew 10:22). If you endure until the end you will be able to say ” I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”. Do you realize when a trial is waging war in your life it is the devil stealing from you? When you eventually realize you’re lost your belonging and have a sense of your loss, then your eyes are open to what was rightfully yours has been taken from you. If we want to walk in daily victory, we must remember that the enemy comes into our lives as a thief. “The devil wants us to sacrifice”. (John 10:10) tell us exactly what the plan of devil is on us, it is to “Kill.” He comes with an attack on you with no playing around. The word “Kill” in the Greek is Thuo which mean sacrifice. The devil is a liar, and he will enter your thoughts with things as: “God is not coming through for you” or “You will fail” are some of his smoke screens lies. When the enemy comes to steal, he is hoping you will sacrifice everything God has given you. He will have you thinking that you been praying and waiting long enough for God to bless you, and now you might as well throw in the towel.  Jewels of Nuggets, “the crazy thing is we believe his lies.” The devil may not have to steal very much from us–especially if we are already giving it away. “Living spiritually alert”. To keep the devil from taking advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his schemes. when you are in an unfavorable situation, you know it is a faith challenge. I have sometimes heard the phrase “ignorance is bliss” which suggest that if I don’t know something, then life is more comfortable, relaxed, and peaceful for me. Jewels of Nuggets, “but if I know the situation is unfavorable for me to move forward, so then I must face it and deal with it.” Ignorance is not a godly way of living. Being ignorant of the enemy’s schemes only leaves us vulnerable to his tactics. Being spiritually illiterate doesn’t mean the enemy will leave you alone. It means we are more likely to make critical mistakes due to a lack of full understanding. Ignorance will hurt us and leave us confused, dejected, and deceived. God did not call us to be spiritually blind, he called us to be spiritually alert.

Well, another Jewels of Nuggets for the soul.  Praise the Lord!
