ESTABLISH YOUR HEART

“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf; also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Psalm 1:2-3)

One of the definitions of the word Establish in the dictionary meaning is: To install or settle in a position, place, business, etc.: God Word says, And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf; also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Psalm 1:2-3). God has settled and set us in a position in Him to bring forth fruit in each of our seasons. You can say God has established your heart in Him. What a marvelous thing, we are set tightly in the Love of the Father, under His protective wings. Oh yes, it is a good thing to have your heart establish in God. To be forgiven of your sins was a plan established by God in heaven, you see you and I was commanded to death for our sins, but God’s grace came to the rescue, when justice demanded death, mercy said No. I want to walk this road of life with God, I am leaning more and more on the Lord for meeting all my needs. Even the ones that I may think is unimportant or too small to worry God about. Even the ones I may think “Oh” God, don’t have time for that” it is too much like the human part of life that we all suffer with here on earth. {like… money, houses, clothes, and other things of desire}. But God wants to supply all our needs, even our heart desires. And we must in prayer see his eye upon us: when he has a full and clear view of all our wants and desires, and all of our infirmities and burdens.  It is the firmament of his power likewise as well as his prospect, to see where we need help. (Psalms 150:1) He is not only, as a Father, able to help us, able to do great things for us, but more than we can ask or think he has wherewith to supply our needs, for every good gift is also from above. He is a Father, and therefore we may come to him with boldness, but he is our Father in heaven, a Holy Father, and therefore we must come with reverence (Ecclesiastes 5:2) So all our prayers should correspond with that which is our great aim as Christians, and that is to please God, and someday be with Him in heaven. God and heaven, should be the end of our whole conversation, it must be particularly eyed in every prayer that it is the center to which we are tending our focus. By prayer, we send before us upward to where we profess to be going. God desires you to seek his righteousness first, obey what He said in the Holy Word, that is the way the Father can move on your behalf, your faith in God will move God’s grace and mercy toward you. I have been seeking God, and calling upon God in all circumstances, praying without ceasing, and I am stronger from these acts of faith, and my heart is being established in God. We must seek the Heavenly Father and draw closer to Him to have a relationship that is built on the solid rock, and that rock is Jesus. In these days life will drain you of everything that you have in you that is not established in God like faith. During one of my “test by trial” I remembered the words of God, spoken in the scriptures, in one of my test, the Spirit of the Lord brought to my remembrance as I focused on Him in prayer “Jesus said, Father I have prayed for the ones that you have given to me, and no one on the earth or under the earth shall be able to pluck them out of my hands”. Jewel of Nuggets “I thought about that for a moment, then I said, “God got my back”. What an awesome faith to be established in God. When my heart is established in God, I can see myself heaven bound and here on earth, I can have all the promises of God when I am established in Him and is Co-heritance with Him, for Jesus Christ has made me the righteousness of God the Father, for He was obedient unto the Father even to death on the cross. Therefore when we are obedient unto God, who is our Holy Father, He is pleased.

In the book of “Psalms” the first Psalm (1) It blesses the man who walks NOT in the company of the ungodly, BUT his heart is established in the righteousness of God.

Psalm 1

  1. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful,
  2. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law doth he meditates day and night.
  3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
  4. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
  5. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
  6. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Jewel of Nuggets “For the ungodly are not so, they will not stand before God, they cannot have a relationship with the righteous. For the things of God are spiritual, and the things of the ungodly are carnal. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, and when the Lord calls his sheep they will answer for they know His voice. But the ways of the ungodly shall perish.”

Well, another Jewels of Nuggets for the Soul.  Praise the Lord.
