Salvation and Lordship in your life take total commitment to God. In case you don’t know what the word “Commitment” is, I will tell you, it is “the act of committing, pledging, or engaging oneself.” We have a moral obligation to God when we promise to accept Him in our heart in the person of Jesus Christ. When you pledge to live according to His Holy Words and obey His commandments, you are making progress to becoming conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:29-30)
verse 29: For whom he did fore-know, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
verse 30: Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
When you accept God’s gift of salvation by Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit works to conform you to the image of his son.
This transformation requires submission to Christ’s lordship. He paid the price for your sins, and the debt you owe it to him. “Jewels of Nuggets” Salvation is free, but we work because we are saved, and free, and we love. We do not work to be saved, for salvation is free, it is the gift of God.
A beautiful word “Lordship” the Lord over my life, Jesus is Lord. “for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called and chosen, and faithful” (Rev. 17:14). Salvation comes by Jesus Christ when He was obedient to the Father even unto death, for upon the cross was the blood of Jesus shed. For it was in the Garden of Eden where that old serpent beguiled Adam and Eve; and brought them down into temptation, sin, and death. For we know the penalty for sin is death. After Adam and Eve gave God’s perfectly created world of peace over to Satan, they were forever lost and in a state of death. The garden of Eden that God made so beautifully and peacefully to placed man and woman there was closed to mankind and Cherubims, and a flaming sword was placed in their place to guard the tree of life. Mankind had fallen from grace and now was forever separated from God. Man soul was lost. He needed a way out. He needed a Savior. But one thing for sure God had a plan. So I can imagine with my spiritual eyes, as the Father and Son so sweetly abided in heaven far above the earth, Jesus said to the Father, daddy send me, I will go down to earth and redeem mankind, make me a body. Make me a body Father, I will go. Lordship and Salvation are found in Jesus Christ. Jesus is Lord over it all. “Lordship” the state or dignity of a Lord. The Lord Jesus Christ who came all the way from heaven to earth to give mankind a way out of sin. By the authority and power of God. The Lord Jesus Christ is given power in heaven and earth by the Father, to reign over the earth domain. The Almighty God has the power to give dominion of the earth to mankind, God still has dominion over all heaven and earth, He is the single ruler in the realms of this creation. Jesus is the Lord over my life, I have invited Jesus into my heart to reign and rule over my life, by faith in the Word of God as written in the Bible, He is Lordship over my life. There is no other person on the earth, under the earth, or in heaven who is worthy to have Lordship over mankind. “Jewels of Nuggets” you need Jesus, you need a savior, you need a true friend. Jesus has paid the price to be all that we need. He has pleased the Father in Heaven. He has taken the guilt of sin away from mankind by shedding his innocent blood for man’s guilty sins. He paid the price for man sins with His blood, so man has been bought for a price and now we belong to Jesus. Amen! Our moral and reasonable duty is to walk in Jesus Christ and let Him rule our life, (life will be much better). As you walk in Jesus Christ let Him have complete control over every part of your life, every decision, act, word, motive, attitude, and thought, give Him Lordship over your life. As I write this blog, I realize that there are many people who will never give God Lordship over their lives for many different reasons, such as they can’t commit, they don’t believe in God, they don’t believe in Jesus, they want to be in control of their life, afraid their life will no longer be fun, afraid they will just have to stop living a fulfilled life. they don’t believe in the here and after, they don’t believe in heaven or hell. But I pray that they will accept God’s gift of life who is Jesus Christ someday. (2 Corinthians 6:2:) says it this way (for he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation). Today is the day to believe in God and accept Jesus Christ and make Him Lordship over your life. Here on this earth I have a Savior who loves me, who cares for me, to walk with me, to talk with me, I can call Him when I am sad, lonely, hurting, sick, afraid, worried, when I am in need of comfort, and in need of a friend, the Lord Jesus Christ is always available. There is not a Friend anywhere that you can find, that will listen to you like the Lord Jesus Christ. Prayer is our key when our life is stormy and we know not what to do. Thank God for his Grace and mercy. When work is done here on this earth, the Bible says there is a mansion prepared for us by Jesus himself, waiting for us in heaven, what a time, what a time that will be, to see the Lord Jesus in all His glory, just to see Him, the one who died for me upon that cross, to forgive me of all my sins, past, present, and future. Thank you, Jesus.
