In the Valley. To be in the valley denotes a low place. It brings on a feeling of an unpleasant place, where you are now confused and torched, and pulled in so many different ways until the mental capacity is unable to function and keep you in a place to fight to climb out of the valley to escape its hold on you. The Psalmist David writes, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod (God Word) and your staff (Holy Spirit) they comfort me). In the Bible is where a Born again child of God get their strength. When you are in your Valley it gives you a chance to look at your Valley and get familiar with the pain and struggle of the journey. For sure never run from your struggles, sit and stare at what you are facing with positive Words of Faith in God’s available power. ” Jewel of Nuggets” I can do this, I can walk through this valley because God is with me. In Genesis, God promised Abraham to deliver His people out of Egypt to a better land. But before they entered into their promised land that God was giving them, they found themselves in the Wilderness, in relations to a Valley. But God was there speaking words of encouragement and guiding them through the Wilderness. In Genesis 26:18-19 we read. “Isaac reopened the wells that had been dug in the time of his father Abraham, which the Philistines had stopped up after Abraham died, and he gave them the same names his father had given them” “Isaac’s servants dug in the “Valley” and discovered a well of fresh water”. “Jewel of Nuggets” If you stay in your valley long enough You will get fresh water, a fresh pouring out of the Holy Spirit. (what a powerful blessing that will be). I mention before while you are in the valley get familiar with what has you in a valley Hold.” ” so when you have familiarized yourself with the valley hold you can break free of the hold on you. Child of God prayer is your weapon, talking to God about your valley hold will bring everything into perspective. Also reading God’s Word in the Bible will bring peace, comfort, and the joy of assurance that your valley is just temporary. There is a bright side of being in the valley (it is) you will know after the Valley comes the Mountain Top. Standing on the Mountain Top with exalting praise, praise, praise will bring your valley to defeat. You need the encouraging presence of God. It will give you the ability to know that this too shall pass. Faith comes when you trust what the Word of God says. While you are in a valley experience just remember most people come from a Mountain Top experience to the Valley. At least I like to think so, I hope that most people get the Mountain Top experience along with their valley experiences. I myself have experienced my share of valley experience, but my mountain top experience has always been in exaltation. We who are Christians serve a great God, and He wants the people who are called by His name to mount up on eagles wings and sore. But because He loves us, and we do not know the mind of God He may allow us to stay in the Valley for a while. But because He is a kind and loving Father, He will walk right beside you in The Valley. “Jewel of Nuggets” “Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I’m not afraid when you walk at my side.
